Even if the russians offered a deal, its objective would be to coherce india into investing more in pak fa, realistically i dont think pakistan will go for it nor are the russians serious about this...

I dont knw about how credible this news is yet if its true than diversifying one's options is never a bad idea and always gets u better deals when u knock on new doors cause they knw u have a back up plan, meanwhile if we can tap into russian fighter development expertise via this project, the experience gained would be invaluable....

I understand but as Chinese technological and scientific prowess reaches the same level as the West and Pakistan having access to it, I feel that this is the best way forward in eventually making Pakistan an indigenous producer of advanced sciences and technologies. This foray with Russia seems a bit of a waste of time and effort.

MOSCOW: Russia has invited Pakistan to invest in the Sukhohi Super Fighter Jet project being developed by Russia which is the fifth generation fighter jet project developed by Moscow.

Russian minister for industry and trade Denis Valentinovich Manturov offered Pakistani counter part on the sidelines of St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) held from June 1-3.

Pakistani Minister Jatoi urged Russia to take benefit from Pakistan’s investment friendly policies and the progress made in large-scale industries.

The meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in industrial sector between both the countries. The minister also invited Denis Manturov to visit Pakistan.

Manturov proposed the minister to invest in Sukhoi Superjet Project. He also apprised the minister on financial and other related aspects of the North-South Gas Pipeline Project.

Jatoi assured that he would convey Manturov’s message to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.

Its mere speculation and reported by a private facebook page, not our "dumb" media, so control ur hormones and check ur adoloscent language or dont qoute me again in the future.

Yes, i agree yet russians definately would've something more to offer but a lot of other factors intrude here and chinese option is the best as it is the shortest route to self reliance.

Hi I have the same information last year while i was discussing PAC role in next gen with Mr XYZ recent retired AF officer ,who share at that time that we are negotiating with both Chinese and Russian i didn't believe that but now seems some thing is cooking behind the door , An alternate theory is
