Russia bombed rebel Rastan, Talbise and Zaafran towns (enemies if ISIS). Not a single ISIS target was hit.

Destroy the rebels first. Then destroy ISIS.

Rebels must be cleared first so Syrian army can fully concentrate on destroying ISIS.

Russia is doing it perfectly.

Russia entered to increases the days of Bashar's government otherwise, Russian strength is seen in Ukraine. I don't hope any better performance from their ground troops but it could trigger a direct insurgency against Russia. Such conflicts are always linked with each other, you fight somewhere else while your own territory is under direct threat from various insurgent groups.
