Nope. More like Russia trying to sell military hardware to Israel. Modern Israelis are Russians by genes yet they refused so far to buy a single piece of Russia military hardware.
Israel needs 2 seat 2 engine plane.
F-35 is single seat single engine. Su-57 is 2 engines and a 2 seat being developed. Israel can buy Su-57.
Doubt that Israelis will ever go with Russian choices. USA gives far more freebies and technological advantages for now than Russia. Russians are not very impressionable and prefer to have a no-nonsense attitude. There will be no political linkages as Russia prefers to keep its politics independent of foreign intervention.
There can be good ties due to the Russian immigration in the early 90s, but nothing more than that. No political inter-dependence which is crucial for Israel to sustain long-term strategic advantage which US gives.
