Russia Develops Own THAAD-like, GMD-like Missile Defense Systems

TASS: Russia - Russia creating super heavy Sarmat ICBM without cooperation with Ukraine — commander

VLASIKHA, December 16. /TASS/. Russia is developing the Sarmat super heavy liquid-propelled intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on its own without cooperation with Ukraine’s defense enterprises, as there is no need in it, Commander of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces (RSMF) Colonel General Sergey Karakayev said on Tuesday.

“As for using the potential of the Ukrainian defense sector, there is no need in it today,” he said, adding that since 1993 all missiles for RSMF have been developed only by Russian enterprises, and the country’s industry has mastered the liquid-propellant technology since the Soviet period.

“One of the main enterprises developing liquid-propelled missiles now is the Academician V.P. Makeyev State Rocket Center. Thanks to the high scientific-technical and industrial potential, it has won a tender for the state order placement that also involved other Russian enterprises, in particular, the Reutov-based VPK NPO Mashinostroyeniya rocket design bureau,” the commander told reporters on the eve of the 55th anniversary of RVSN creation.

According to Karakayev, the Makeyev State Rocket Center “has drawn together cooperation ensuring closed-cycle design, development and serial production of missiles and sea-launched missile systems. Specialists of the enterprises have carried out major preparatory work, in particular, for the study of the experience of the creation of the Voivode class missiles (NATO’s reporting name Satan).”

“So, we have no doubt that the new heavy liquid-propelled missile will be created before the end of the current decade,” Karakayev said.

“Russian Strategic Missile Forces have around two thirds of nuclear warheads in the country’s Strategic Nuclear Forces,” Commander of Strategic Missile Forces Colonel General Sergey Karakayev said

VLASIKHA (Moscow region), December 16. /TASS/. Around 400 strategic missiles with warheads assigned for them are currently on combat duty in Strategic Missile Forces, Commander of Strategic Missile Forces Colonel General Sergey Karakayev told reporters.

“Russian Strategic Missile Forces have around two thirds of nuclear warheads in the country’s Strategic Nuclear Forces,” he said on the eve of the 55th anniversary of establishing Russian Strategic Missile Forces.

TASS: Russia - Russian Strategic Missile Forces plan 14 launches in 2015 — commander

VLASIKHA (Moscow region), December 16. /TASS/. Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) plan to carry out 14 launches next year, 9 of which will be test launches, RVSN Commander Colonel General Sergei Karakayev told reporters on Tuesday.

“A total of 14 launches are planned for 2015 - for the flight tests of advanced weapons samples and controlling technical readiness of missile systems adopted for service,” he said on the eve of the 55th anniversary of RVSN creation.

According to Karakayev, the number of test launches next year is to be increased to 9. Another 5 launches will pursue other goals - missile scrapping with simultaneous launch of a spacecraft, service life extension and checkout firing.

The RVSN commander also said that 24 Yars mobile and fixed land-based missile systems are planned to be delivered to the troops in 2015. According to him, 16 Yars missile systems were delivered to the troops in 2014: 12 - mobile land-based and 4 - silo-based systems.

“The preparation for rearmament of new missile regiments in accordance with 2015 plans is underway. The state defence order envisages further development of the RVSN striking power. Much is planned to be done next year,” Karakayev said. According to him, the research and development work for the creation the Yars modernised strategic missile systems is nearing completion.
The three-stage Yars missile is Russia’s newest mobile intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) complex. The system was first tested in 2007. Though most of its characteristics are classified, open information suggests that it can deliver at least four thermonuclear warheads weighing 300 kilotons each to a target located 11,000 kilometres away. The complex is solid-fuel based, and its boost phase is much shorter compared to previous generation missiles. RS-24 Yars has “adaptive” missile shield piercing capacity and its warheads are manoeuvrable - making it highly unlikely to be intercepted.

Karakayev also said Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) will carry out 2 test launches this December.

“In December 2014, it is planned to carry out 2 missile test launches. The test firing is aimed at confirming the flight technical characteristics and extension of the service life of the existing missile systems, as well as experimental development of new combat equipment,” he said on the eve of the 55th anniversary of the RVSN creation.

Karakayev said that this year the Strategic Missile Forces have conducted a total of 8 combat training and test launches of missiles.
In Soviet times, in Ukraine was built the best aerospace plants in the world - "Yuzhmash" in Dnepropetrovsk, "Antonov" in Kiev and the "Motor Sich" in Zaporozhye. These plants can only be operated in cooperation with Russian companies. After Maidan these plants became totally unneeded. They are waiting for extinction, as well as the entire industry of Ukraine. Pathetic macaques from Maidan will turn once one of the most industrialized countries in the world into a banana republic!

Soviet Union was too big to handle and in the recent Ukraine conflict , we did saw the area of actions were mainly to get those industrialized regions.Ukrainian manufacturer Motor Sich provides engines to Russia's Kazan Helicopter Plant which is the largest helicopter Industry.

Ukraine does not need these plants. Nazi authorities want to make Ukraine agrarian appendage of the West - that's why they broke all cooperative ties with Russian industrial enterprises. And if Russia succeeds, albeit with difficulty, to fill the gaps in the production chains, Ukraine - no. Accordingly, the largest plants will be shut down, and invaluable experience - lost. That is the reality and that is pathetic future of the region, that once was the most industrialized part of superpower USSR.
I hope that the industrial regions of Ukraine will be reunited with Russia, otherwise all our workers have become slave-workers for the West.

Why you are saying that Ukraine does not need those plants ? Cant Ukraine sell those engines directly to other companies ?

USSR was not able to keep the whole regions united and worked more for increasing the living standards of the Western provinces of USSR close to the Western Europe and neglected other provinces and in reality those provinces are still aligned with Russia and are part of CIS etc .

I do think that the relations between Ukraine and Russia will take lot of time to improve and on that many issues have to be solved.

Russia has already established enterprises, which in a few years completely replace the products of Ukrainian plants. So Ukrainian factories will be closed, as other orders, except for Russian, never will be there.
At the end of 2013, before the Maidan, a group of Russian investors visited the plants of Ukraine. It was agreed that Ukrainian enterprises will be able to participate in the realization of the Russian defense program. In fact, it meant receiving tens of billions of dollars of investments and complete modernization of the industry.
At this moment the West and bunch of idiots created maidan and broke all Ukraine's chances of industrial revival, forever. Damned West and naive monkeys just stolen the future of this country. Not surprising that most people of industrialized regions of Ukraine wants became independent.

Russia is working on some more advance equipment and i think even Ukrainians will do the same along with some international companies . Ukraine was providing spares to Indian Air force and like this cant Ukraine supply spares, engines and equipments to other countries?

Its all about business worth billions but in all this Independence cant be negotiated.

You just do not know what reall happened here. Were terminated most of the contracts. Russia - the market for almost all products of Ukraine with high added value. Most industrial enterprises were supplied to Russia from 70 to 100% of production. And monkeys just break these ties.
I'll write again - before Maidan were made agreements with Russia for shipyards of Nikolaev at $ 5 billion. That's more than during 23 years of Ukrainian "independence". But stupid monkeys killed the chances of shipyards of Nikolaev (built by the way in the Russian Imperial and Soviet times) to upgrade, so - to exist. As part of modern Nazi Ukraine industrial development is impossible in principle. Because the Nazis from western Ukraine - are peasants. For them bakery is a industrial plant. They are stupid and uneducated, they even in ruined Ukrainian army did not taken in the mechanized units, because they can not control technique.
Crimea for half a year has received more investment than during 23 years while he was part of Ukraine. Therefore, the inhabitants of New Russia took up arms - we do not want to turn into a herd of stupid slaves for the West.

Gas supplies issue did spoiled relations between Ukraine and Russia and its true that Ukrainian civilians have suffered because of the issues of the big companies. I think Ukraine and Russia both tried to negotiate on many things but things haven't worked out and that turned into the increasing of the problems.

Ukraine will now get more investment from West and even can join EU as well as NATO which would let Ukrainians to move more freely in Western World and immigration will be easier. Even Russian citizens are moving into Western countries in large numbers. At the end of the day both Russia and NATO are placing Missile shield components interceptors, launchers and radars etc.

Russia needed Crimea for the black sea fleet and both Ukraine and Russia were holding talks for years and things haven't worked out and this let to the events in Crimea.

The agreement about base in Sevastopol was signed by about 2050. However, monkeys from maidan threatened that as soon as they come to power, will tear this agreement. Russia had no other choice but to let Crimeans to hold a referendum on reunification with Russia. If such a referendum held on the southern and eastern Ukraine from Kharkov to Odessa - the locals also stand for the reunification with Russia. Fact.
No investment from the West will never be. This is a fairy tale for aborigins. West will ruin the remaining industrial plants, so as not to create competition. Perhaps, will be some investment in the agricultural sector, but it is unlikely. However, when the industry of Ukraine will be finally destroyed by the monkeys from the Maidan, the agricultural sector will be able to feed only 7 million people. Calculated by specialists. Now the population of Ukraine without the Crimea and the Donbass - about 37 million people. Of these, 30 will become superfluous, because will not havet work. The junta has already raises payments for housing and communal services, raise the retirement age, reduces benefits, social package for workers nearly abolished. They will cancel free medical care and free education - the last remaining gains for the workers from the Soviet period. This is a systematic genocide of the population.
Thirty million people will be forced to either leave or die.

2010 Kharkiv pact did let for the Russian naval ships and personals from 2017 was extended till 2042 with 5 years extension but with the gas crisis things started to work against that agreement which in real worked for Russia. But one can not forget that during that time people were suffering and this let into violent protests and crisis increased by that time. And already 25,000 Russian soldiers were allowed to be stationed in Crimea after Kharkiv pact and because of this only Russia was able to hold referendum in Crimea , it was all about money and as you said that Russia did invested alot in Crimea and change the opinion against the Ukrainian central Government. It was a well calculated step by the Russian planners where as the European union and NATO planners were expected all this will happen.

Russia has invested in the Crimea after the referendum, and not before. You probably just do not understand the situation. Ukraine has always been a part of Russia. And many residents of Ukraine (the majority in the south and east of the country) still consider Ukraine part of Russia. Russia created Ukraine as an administrative unit. Russia has established industry of Ukraine. Without Russia, Ukraine - just a land for foreign invasion.More then 50% of Ukrainians speak Russian and thirst for reunification with Russia, instead of "European integration". But there was maidan. And a bunch of cretins seized power. And a bunch of cretins abolishes the state. And this is not a figure of speech. Every day these monkeys outages electricity across the country for 6-7 hours. There are no hot water in many localities for a few months. And all because cretins can not govern. They need to be kept under the supervision of psychiatrists. State dissolves. In the Vinnitsa, Krivoy Rog and Zaporozhye they holding mini-Maidans - the Nazis are trying to remove from power the last appropriate managers. If, before the Maidan we had the corrupt power, but now we have the power of war criminals and mass murderers.
Most of the inhabitants of New Russia from Odessa to Kharkov in favor of reunification with Russia. Western Ukraine does not want it. Therefore, the country is doomed to disintegration.

Russia was able to hold referendum because Russian personals were stationed and before that there were violent clashes in Ukraine because of the gas crisis and Kharkiv pact.

Russia and Ukraine agreed for Independence and division of the provinces by agreements . Why on first place the Pro Russian Ukranians accepted the Independence in 1991, when you are claiming so ? Sovereignty is some thing or you are saying that Russian Federation still thinks that disintegration of USSR was unfair ? There are many SSR republics who are having their own countries and want to have Independent policy.

To find answers to these questions, you need to go a little further into the history. The very word "Украина" (Ukraine) means "land of the edge," "borderland", "frontir". "Borderland" of what? Of Russia. Until 1917, Ukraine was called Little Russia, and its inhabitants - Little Russians. In all documents Little Russians considered as an ethnic Russian (as well as Belarusians (White Russians) and the Great Russians (whom we call Russians now)).
New Russia - the territory from Odessa to Kharkov - was conquered in the 18th century from the Crimean Khanate. Here roamed the Mongolian and Turkic tribes, who carried out systematic attacks on Russia to plunder and take people into slavery. However, during the reign of Catherine II, these lands were conquered. This is how the "New Russia" appeared. Settled here come from all lands of the Empire, mostly - Russian (all three Russian peoples), but apart from them - the Serbs, Greeks, Bulgarians, Moldovans, Germans.
New Russia, thanks to the mild climate, fertile land, access to the sea and some tax breaks has become the fastest growing area of the Russian Empire. Odessa, founded in 1794, one hundred years later became the fourth city of the Empire after St. Petersburg, Moscow and Warsaw. That is, between Russian cities Odessa became the third city of Empire and has received the unofficial title of "southern capital".
After the Revolution of 1917 in Odessa was created Odessa Soviet Republic, in Kharkov - Donetsk Soviet Republic. Both were part of the Soviet Russian Federation.
Gubernia_UK_RSDKR%2C_RPU_y_RSO[1].png

After the victory of the Red Army in the Civil War, these republics were abolished and incorporated into the Ukrainian Soviet Republic. Public opinion, no one asked, although locals were against it. This was done because the territory of the Little Russia has almost no factories, and almost the entire population represents the peasants. 30 years later, in 1954, Crimea was also incorporated to the Ukraine, again, no one asked the local population, although they were against it.
In 1991, there were two referendums. Referendum on the preservation of the Union, where the majority of residents were in favor of preserving the Union. And a referendum on independence, on which the majority were in favor of independence. However, people have been brutally deceived, since the acceptance of independence does not imply secession from the Union. USSR had to be converted into a Union of Independent States. The people were deceived. Instead renewed Union we got amorphous Commonwealth.
Thus, the population of New Russia retained most of its commitment to Russia, and not to the independent Ukraine. If someone held a referendum here, as in the Crimea - the result would be in favor of Russia.

So here you are talking in terms ethnic Russians and then 1917 revolution in which all the nations were incorporated into USSR. If all were Russians then why have they separated from USSR ?

I alredy explained to you. They said that instead of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will be the Union of Independent States - no borders, no customs. Instead of it traitors Yeltsin, Kravchuk and Shushkevich created Commonwealth of Independent States.
In addition, there was a huge shaft of Western propaganda against the Soviet Union, people were decieved and told that if Ukraine will come out of the Soviet Union, then after a year we will be like second France. The same fairy tales was told in other republics.
