I mean it's just mraps...

We had a conversation between me and @xenon54 about the fancy tools that KIRPI had ....

But you can see the fancy gears here in the Egyptian ST-100 MRAB ... that makes the job easier.

Well...
It's more money for nothing tbh... they are vehicules to be used harshly...
What happen when the screen doesn't work anymore in the middle of the op? Every Info about the state of your vehicle is out...
Too much electronics is also not the best... too many point of failure...
The best vehicles must be as "analogue" as possible...
That's why many countries are keeping their old vehicles... and newest ones try to keep that legacy... check US/RU/CN newest vehicules... and you will see.

Well thats not Kirpi but Vuran, besides i never said its fany, i said "proper gear". Military vehicles dont need to be fancy, they need to be reliable, they must be easy to maintain and sturdy in extreme situations. A broken display is not something you can repair in a battlefield so you go analogue when it doesnt need to be digital.

Thats Kirpi interior btw.

May be you both are right .... but if we follow that theory.... no equipment can be developed to new generation .... look at 4.5 and 5th Generations Fighters or even modern Tanks o_O

They are all equipped with sensors and screens :coffee:

Sensors is one thing, using fancy equipments just to give it a more "modern" look while being a possible issue on the ground when it's broken is another thing.
More capable sensors is a must.

A plane is not the same as an MRAP though, have you ever seen the inside of an Abrams?

It is about what you expect with “modern” term. Gulf Arabs found the meaning of “civilization” word by constructing the taller buildings and purchasing expensive luxury equipments instead of investing the science and technology so I am not surprized our Egyptian seeks fancy screens and dijital cockpit inside a land vehicle instead of searching protection level of Turkish MRAP against IED and land mines. (MRAP:Mine Resistant Ambush Protected)
