What's new

Russia and Iran are accelerating their project to rival the Suez Canal

Too long, not enough traffic to be viable
i also believe the canal will have technological problem unless for example china construction might begin backing it.
by the way all the way is not going to be built. studies show once central Iran was a big lake , they plane divert sea of Oman water to that area to revive the lake there are some problem with this project namely that great lake will be 300-400m above sea level. that don't make it impossible but certainly it make it harder (the terrain around it have higher altitude).
also those areas are national park and the change will affect wild life and ecosystem that must be studied thoroughly . there are villages in area that must be moved.

but all aside if the project finish and give result , it certainly can be one of the engineering marvel of our time.

by the way i wonder if when Iran and china and Iran and Russia signed those long term treaty and investment plans , it was part of what they had in mind ?

.
All the cock mockery aside,

but this just goes on the show how much the russians and central asians want the warm water route; including china.

Who ever controls the arabian sea, will control the world trade.

its not hidden that Russia want access to warm water at least since 400 years ago.
but if this route become a reality all other routes to central Asia will become things of past and backup routes.
also its not like Suez canal that is just a canal this routes needs ships go up several hundred meter , and that really needs energy , there must be power planet around those two part that pass through Alborz and Zagross mountain and the route use energy like crazy.

High water level backflow is not a technical problem.
As early as 2010, the State Administration of water resources of China had a plan to pour water from the Bohai Sea into Xinjiang to improve the water circulation environment along the way. Now the technical difficulty of this plan is large-scale low-cost seawater desalination, rather than high-level reverse irrigation.
China has high water level reverse irrigation technology.

well being above sea water is one of the challenges , it can be dealt with , both china and russia had previously dealt with it in other project but , was there of this magnitude canal is supposed to be at least twice as wide as Suez canal which will be more than 160m wide and 40m deep for around 1000km that pass through some mountain.

but let look at this from other aspect look at the map

area as big as half the Caspian sea is supposed to get filled with water , that's not a small feat and i doubt you can do that with sweat water , nobody have that much sweat water and the desert is salty there, another problem is that area is one of the warmest place on earth . so you had to pomp water continuously there at least for first several year till the climate in those areas change and that's not that easy
the canal and overall the project needs lots and lots of electricity , the only feasible solution i see is several nuclear power planet

You cannot desalinate that faster than it will evaporate.

It's totally unfeasible with freshwater.

If you could create that much freshwater, you would be better off simply doing hydroponic farming.

if we could produce that much fresh water , id have filled tankers with it and exported it instead of oil

Suez canal can be threatened too. Take a look into this

The main project is not a land route to Russia, it is building a canal wider than Suez canal which goes throughout Iran's deserts.
View attachment 858257View attachment 858258
It can not only provide Iran and its friendly countries s with an alternative route to Suez but also it can revive Iran's dead deserts. Guess what, IRGC is developing this route and they are seeking Russian investment for it both in terms of funds and technology.

Egypt's neighbors are building a dam on their lifeline. Who said that iranian relationship with Azeebaijan is tense? There are problems but the railway to Russia is already active and kicking.
The sanctions that you mentioned is an other reason for close cooperation between Iran and Russia.

The gas fields in the Mediterranean do not have much of a capacity to feed the whole Europe. Otherwise Germans having the technological power behind, had already developed an alternatice to Russian gas years ago, hence wouldn't had to turn to coal mines.

Obviuosly, Russians will not try to antagonize Egypt before finding a trustworthy replacement.

The rest is history and politics, when you have IRGC leading a peoject, be sure that it will be operational as sson as possible.
First, the Suez Canal has been working well since 1975
Simply the world's safest, easiest and smoothest corridor in 50 years and transports 15% of global trade, so a simple problem is not considered a thing because of the mistakes of the ship of the largest container ships in the world, and this is not considered a real problem unless the purpose is only to distort or give a naive justification for other things

54866_5731111.jpg

Dreams and ambitions are the right of any country, but how much will it cost Iran for such a project? You are talking about hundreds of billions of dollars without any return in return. Any projects must have economic feasibility and not become a laughing stock.
If Iran was able technically, financially, or had any benefit, it would have implemented it

The issue of building Ethiopia’s dam is not Ethiopia, but other countries such as Israel and China who finance the dam and Egypt eliminates Ethiopia with one simple declaration that will not see Africa’s honor as stability. Considering water as a means of controlling peoples, it must be destroyed. Iran itself cut off the water from its veins by establishing small dams to drain the source of the river. There are two types of revenge, always divine revenge, and it will inevitably be done, so the god of earthquakes sends earthquakes to these countries to destroy them, and the revenge of the peoples in the calamities of the rivers
Let's see what Egypt did to Hades in Ethiopia

It created a civil war that caused the displacement of millions
Destruction of development in Tigray and in Ethiopia
Suspended factories in Ethiopia 400 factories
Destroy the foreign exchange reserves in Ethiopia to rearm its defeated army that destroyed half of his army
The war continues in Tigray, Benishangul, Urmia and even Amhara
The Ethiopians were expelled from Saudi Arabia under Egyptian pressure
The fertile Sudanese lands that were cultivated by the Ethiopians were restored to put more pressure on Ethiopia

A dam was built in Tanzania for farming and selling electricity to Kenya to stop Ethiopia’s dreams of selling electricity to Kenya and cultivating millions of acres in Tanzania without harming any other country

Egypt is making Ethiopia a lesson for any African country that thinks of using water as a commodity, and this is of course against the plans of countries such as Yemen, Iran and Russia, which seize the sources of rivers and use them as a tool in humiliating and stealing the water of countries

However, Samar can in several hours destroy Ethiopia’s dams whenever she wants, but the priority is not the dam, but the destruction of Ethiopia itself and its dismemberment of several countries to be a lesson for every criminal country

What is being announced about gas fields in the eastern Mediterranean are small numbers of real reserves. The volume of gas in the eastern Mediterranean, its value exceeds 3000 billion, next to the Egyptian gas fields in the Red Sea and southern Egypt, so the belief that the impact of the Egyptian gas fields is simple and most important and the lack of understanding of the reality of things

The Russians have two years to solve the gas sales to China, India and Pakistan, because Europe will get rid of them just as they got rid of Russian gold purchases, and the same story is about ores and strategic minerals.

The Russians and Yarns are economically large as countries, and their trade is limited compared to the seven major countries. Cooperation among the outcasts does not mean that they have a global influence.

"
Obviuosly, Russians will not try to antagonize Egypt before finding a trustworthy replacement.

The rest is history and politics, when you have IRGC leading a peoject, be sure that it will be operational as sson as possible.
"

The Russians are a country under sanctions, and antagonizing Egypt is costly. The war between Egypt and England turned it from a superpower to a second-class state

Profit and loss accounts
The Russians are the largest country in the world in terms of area and have strategic materials. Yes

But there are alternatives to the Russians, the industrialists of the Russians are a country that is lagging behind
The auto industry has miserable
The electronic industry has failed
Even the arms industry

China is superior to the Russians in the manufacture of Phoenix fighters, and even Chinese engines are developing and surpassing the Russians, with the Chinese relying on military technology in the production of sucking engines. It preferred to buy the Y-20 plane and asked China for 20 planes instead of the unfortunate Russian IL-76
China introduces fifth generation fighters
Chinese air defense batteries are beginning to outpace the Russians
The Chinese, for example, learned about the batteries of the Tor-2M to Russia and produced better and higher-range copies, which made Egypt buy huge quantities from china instead of buying from Russia

India itself is getting rid of Russia as an arms supplier and European offers have already attracted India
Egypt rejected Russian weapons and preferred South Korean production over them
India is turning to low-cost weapons, which is simply a solution that can get rid of the Russians, and instead of purchasing 2 billion dollars annually in weapons from Russia
These numbers are heading to other European alternatives, Southeast Asia, China and India
The Russians a country after its war from ukrania that will not be before it

We came to wheat, Egypt started cultivating an additional 1 million acres annually of wheat every year, and half a million acres of corn were planted every year to increase the volume of Egyptian production. Consequently, it will be at the expense of the Russians.

Egypt is also developing an arms industry to replace Russian and North Korean weapons in Africa with Egyptian production

Egypt aims to expel the Russians from Libya and has prevented Russian from establishing a naval base in Sudan in Port Sudan and rejects the Russian presence in Syria because it is a kind of occupation
Egypt cooperates with the Gulf in the production of weapons to replace Russian weapons

That is, simply, as the Russians think, Egypt can get rid of Russian , because Egypt expelled the Soviets from Egypt in 1976. Egypt never trusted the Russians until the October war, which Egypt carried out against the Russians, who were preventing any weapon with a welcome impact on Egypt, and Egypt was able to obtain Soviet weapons from Iraq and Algeria And Europe is not eastern when russia was preventing weapons from Egypt

If the Russians try anything hostile to Egypt, Egypt can implement hostile policies against the Russians, which will cost the Russians a lot. Some ignore egypt , the largest country in the Middle East

We, the Russian-Ukrainian Lord, are very beneficial to Egypt and its continuation is beneficial
Egypt The benefits of transferring Gulf investments to Egypt this year 30 billion dollars
Europe investments 6 and promised 60 billion dollars in european investments
The Americans present their offers to Egypt
In order to stop the arms deals with the Russians in return, Egypt refuses, but the Russians doing something harmful to Egypt will be a file for the Russians. Those who do not appreciate the value of Egypt will regret it and lose a lot.

Egypt in exchange for postponing the delivery of one air defense battery with Germany
I got German systems from passive radar and anti-drone systems, that is, simply the Russians to Egypt are a tool and a commodity to be traded, so the Russians do not think that Egypt does not treat them in the same way. The Russians prevented Russian tourism from Egypt because of the Eastern Mediterranean gas. The isolation of the Russians increases
For Russian to establish an alternative to the Suez Canal with Ireland, at a cost of one hundred times as much, Egypt would increase the attractiveness of its corridors by establishing

Strategic warehouses for goods in Egypt for resale and marketing to Africa and the Gulf
Intermediate factories to reduce sea transport
180121_Egypt_Siemens_rail_route.jpg

A railway network to connect the Red Sea with the Mediterranean Sea to increase and speed transportation
Egypt signed new rail network contracts with Germany worth $8 billion for first stage

Egypt has spent 400 billion dollars in development projects in Egypt, the Russians' share of them is only 25 billion dollars in nuclear reactors
mega1.jpg

Egypt will spend another 1000 billion in development projects until 2030, the Russians will lose any share in them, which is simply the biggest Russian loser

i see what i see, we can't deliver the amount of damage 70 su-57 can do with our missile in 30 min .
and su-57 with its 12 hardpoint can deliver

  • 4 × Kh-38M, Kh-59MK2
  • 2 × Kh-35U, Kh-31
  • 4 × Kh-58UShK
  • 250, 500, 1,500 kg guided and un-guided bombs
  • Anti-tank "Drill" 500 kg cluster-bomb + active homing
now if somebody prefer to use iron bombs instead of the guided one then its not platform problem , its war doctrine problem

Survivability?

You think every single one of those aircraft are going to be dropping their payloads against multi-billion dollar state of the art anti air defense assets of the persian gulf/zionist entity?

70 su 57s wouldnt have a chance if it came to a real shooting war with Irans realistic enemies.

This project was at some time past was estimated to cost $7 billion dollars..I do not have any new estimates but IRGC construction corps can do Mega projects and 7 billion in Iran goes a long way.

There is an excellent video on this that I will try to look for..

Pakistan is not in Central Asia.....
Neither are Russia, Iran, and China.

But Russia, Iran, Pakistan and China are the powers who protect the central Asian nations - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

India has not role in Central Asia.
