These are not WW2 era Bombers that will fly over cities and drop Tons of dumb bombs.Along with the ability of conventional bombing raids These Modern strategic bombers are armed with standoff Long Range ALCMs and ALBMs that can inflict massive damage to targets without entering enemy air space and have long range and are extremely Deadly in hands of nuclear powers.
Plus a raid on enemy target by bombers is not done in isolation, It is combined with sabotaging enemy air defenses by ground teams and Wild Weasel Missions by strike aircraft and escorted from Air Superiority fighters to carry out their objective.


Cant say anything about the Capabilities of any modern Russian Program. PAKFA, ARMATA, PAKDA, S400 etc compared to their Soviet Union Predecessors comparing to the Era-Capability Spectrum. They are way too much over hyped by international observers because people still don't want to stop seeing Russia in Shadow of Former Soviet Union. Russia does best what it have to do to defend itself and its interests considering it economy. But we want Soviet Union Vibes from Russia which is honestly not possible for now.

Which is capable of firing Russian Kh Series of Cruise missiles having 3000Km to 6000Km
BTW isn't it the Same Era when B1 Lancer and F117 Night Hawk were Introduced in US Forces.
