Protesters were peacefully protesting for days until the army came and started shooting. (Deng want the protests to end quickly since world media was in Beijing and he didn't want the world to see what was going on)

You keep ignored the fact that Chinese people protest against the government, army is brought out and then used to kill them.

The main thing is a country's military are mainly there for fighting external enemies to protect their country. They can only be called or deployed in the country in case of natural emergencies( earthquakes, floods etc) to help evacuate civilians and ease burden on the country's services. A country's military MUST UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES be used against protesters/it's it' civilians (mostly happens in developing countries though). Police and security services are there for that (i.e maintain law and order and crowd control/contain and manage protests . Soldiers(in every country not just China) are not trained to contained crowds/maintain peace,they are trained to kill . So using them and their killing equipments against civilians/protests will obviously lead to deaths, since the way soldiers react to a provocation is not the way police/security services who are trained for this will react. They will always use more forceful methods which will also lead to escalation and then deaths.
Moreover the protests were mostly peaceful until the army was sent into the streets to stop and crush the protests. Instead of denying this unfortunate tragedy that tarnish China's reputation alot the government needs to acknowledge it as a mistake, apologies and compensate victims and their families and move on. By denying it and sanctioning any story/debate about it only makes this wound to last longer and no lesson to be learned from this.

Yes, blue camp has totally annihilated itself by sidelining Guo. Blues had 3+ spoiled candidates, along with Han being a complete joke. Though they would've lost anyways.

In my small discussion circle with local cadres, we come to the point that it's impossible to deny that both sides in TW are jokes. GMD were and still are round jokes, but they are smaller evil.

Greens largely ride on people being ready to choose "anything,but GMD." Were Guo to turn Green, he would've won.
