My Question: E.g 100 Billions Rafale deal = 130 Billions now

has India still got enough money to pay the bill?? :undecided:

. . .
Rupee falling more and more today, maybe 150 billion soon. Very bad for india....so sad :what:

You're looking at the wrong graph. The Rafale deal while reported in USD in the media but the payment will actually be in Euros. It was a case of both rupee falling and Dollar strengthening. Rupee hasnt fallen as much against the Euro. In fact it's now gaining rapidly.

Rupee/Euro = drop over 20% - 30% too :fie:

This guy is being disingenuous and looking at purely a very narrow period of time.

Seriously mate PDF isn't about Indian economy solely. Wasting everyone's time- every one else knows the truth.

What does this have to do with defence news?

.
Rafele would be manufactured in India by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited by Technology transfer, which means lots of labor cost would be saved. Its so simple.

.
Govt working on it through various ways ...one is....

Investment proposals in more than 400 projects, valued at more than Rs. 5 lakh crore, were announced at the end of the first day of the Global Investors Meet on Thursday..source the hindu....(Bangalore)

. .
Exports from India would benefit but the Rupee will start rising in the near future

Money is the CORE FACTOR of DEFENCE

Duh!! but this is nothing to do with defence but economics something which has and should have been posted in the Indian Economy thread.

Wrong. India has HUGE trade deficit (185billions), more imported goods than exported goods

falling rupee is very bad for India

.
.
Are you totally stupid? I said that exports could benefit with the fall of the Rupee im well aware of the trade deficit.

India on course to achieve $500 billion exports target by 2014

Wrong too

No exporter is happy with the weakening rupee

8-6-2012

"No exporter is happy with the weakening rupee," says Rafeeque Ahmed, President, Federation of Indian Exports Organisations. Why not? "We are scared," says Ludhianabased Rajnish Ahuja, who has been exporting engineering goods for nearly three decades. "Foreign buyers are very smart. They are asking for a 10 per cent discount now. But if the rupee appreciates tomorrow, we are worried they will want the discount to continue."
