My answer would be simple, at least every 10 minute someone wants to hack a page or F.B for different reasons but not a single time F.B gives a damn chance.

they are running a multi billion dollar site.

From me hacking a F.B is a dream since CIA, FIA providing them security for obvious reasons.

My point is CIA it self got hacked. I have 100% reason to believe that CIA has a back door to facebook and by running a search crawler on Wikileaks data dump on Vault-7 one can find that exploit in 3 to 4 days and after that it will be good bye face book.

Very Stupid move especially if it is related to blasphemous content on FB. If something offends you on net simply close the damm page.
