Rummaging through history

Bhagavat Gita 7-22 : Endowed with such a faith, he endeavors to worship a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.
Purport: The demigods cannot award benedictions to their devotees without the permission of the Supreme Lord. The less intelligent living entity does not know this, and therefore he foolishly goes to the demigods for some benefit. But the pure devotee, when in need of something, pray only to the Supreme Lord. A living entity goes to the demigods usually because he is mad to fulfill his lust [for material things]. Devotional service to the Supreme Lord and the worship of a demigod cannot be on the same platform, because worship of a demigod is material and devotional service to the Supreme Lord is completely spiritual.

Bhagavat Gita 7-23 : Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.

Bhagavat Gita 7:19-21: "All those who do idol worship, All those who worship demigods are materialistic people."

Punctures your arguments big time. Goes to show that views against idol worship were not connected to the vedas alone . This is the Bhagvad Gita, one of Hinduism's holiest books. It is a small portion within the Mahabharata which is most definitely post vedic in nature.

Rig Veda, Vol.8,1:1: "All Praise are to Him alone"

Rig Veda, Vol.6,45:16: "There is only One God, worship Him."

"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1

2. "Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2

3. "Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3

4. The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:
"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."
"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]4

1. "na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]5

2. "shudhama poapvidham"
"He is bodyless and pure."
[Yajurveda 40:8]6

3. "Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste"
"They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink
deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti."
[Yajurveda 40:9]7

4. Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.

3. "Ma cid anyad vi sansata sakhayo ma rishanyata"
"O friends, do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him alone."
[Rigveda 8:1:1]10

4. "Devasya samituk parishtutih"
"Verily, great is the glory of the Divine Creator."
[Rigveda 5:1:81]11

"Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures."
[Bhagavad Gita 7:20]

Brahma Sutra of Hinduism:

The Brahma Sutra of Hinduism is:

"Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan"

"There is only one God, not the second; not at all, not at all, not in the least bit."

11[Rigveda Samhita vol. 6, pages 1802 and 1803 by Swami Satya Prakash Saraswati and Satyakam Vidyalankar]

what are you trying to prove ,,,,,?

.
Yeah these Vedas were against idol worship which is Hinduism today, and also they prove that these Aryans believed in Monotheism, and worshipped the one God, as Muslims, Christians and Jews do today.:)

Rig Veda, Vol.8,1:1: "All Praise are to Him alone"

Rig Veda, Vol.6,45:16: "There is only One God, worship Him."

And when they say one god what does it signify is the concept of Bhrahman. As i said you need to understand Hinduism first. Hinduism is monotheist in a polytheistic sense. When we say supreme that means the param Bhahman and then the defination varies from Shaktas, Vaishnavs and Shavaites with either being the supreme.

Secondly there is no one in Hinduism like demi god but in fact they are gods then comes the supreme being or the param Bhrahmand.

What you are talking about is called param bharaman which in itself is part of hinduism.

i repeat read hinduism first then come up with vague theories.

.
Give me links that the mantras which i have mentioned are not vedic. before doing any :blah::blah:

Anyways i am fed up going round and round in circles with you. and posting same thing again and again.

Ok i accpet defeat

Rajputs were not hindus
Vedas have nothing to do with Hinduism
Happy now

Look, last time, There are several historians who say Rajputs are descendents of hephthalites who were violent people and came to indus valley, Hindus were unable to fight them so the hindus gave them special privilages and they were given Kshatriya caste. Bharti rajput may all be hindu but that cant be said of pakistani rajput

Actually not. The rig veda mentions hundreds of Gods including Indra, Agni, Soma Varuna, Mithra, Ashwins, Sarasvati and so on. Btw, you are wasting your time. Hinduism is not a single source, single thought religion like the Abrahamic ones. The Upanishads which are among the main books of Hindu thought completely dismiss the idea of God in many of their writings. Difficult for Hindus to comprehend the breadth of Hindu thought, let alone non- Hindus brought up in a very different way of thinking.

Lol when you caste divison then it was not hindus per se who did this caste division if you go by religon.
Man you are getting funnier now.
boss aryan invasion theory has already been proved wrong if you try and google it.

the Vedas support both ritual and spirtual worship. The Karma kanda refers to the rites, Yajnas etc.. while the Gnana kanda supports to spiritual enlightenment...

Dilli was a muslim city before bharat independence it was built by muslims, Many pakistani civilization ruled over there it was a centre of delhi sultanate, We muslims call it "dilli" but you bharatis pronounce it as "Dehli" there is still a difference.

Delhi existed long before the Muslims came to India. It was called Indraprastha earlier.

Your history knowledge about hinduism is at the level of grade 3, While i was banned for a week i was reading and researching about hinduism and you obviously cant have a discussion based on facts and books written by qualified writers, you can only have a discussion with someone of your level,

Since you cant give me any credible source it means hinduism has nothing to do with vedism

.
Hindus are idol worshippors they may also be sun worshippors because due to rajput slavery, but most rajputs were never idol worshippors, rajputs came from central asia so were central asians also hindus

The number of temples built by Rajput kings and princesses dedicated to various Hindu gods is itself enough to prove that Rajputs were idol worshippers.

If this was your result of reaseach sorry you failed in your experiment.

What can be more qualified with the rig vedas themselves. I gave you the mantras from the vedas itself.

Since you cant give me any credible source it means hinduism has nothing to do with vedism

What else do you want i already gave you mantras from the rig vedas. Proove me that they are not from rig veda and someone rigged them and made them up.
