First, Saudi Radars are American-made...

America will give/or already has given all the source-codes and everything for Saudi Radars. Saudi radars won't even be able to pick Israeli jets (just like it happened in Egypt)..and Israelis will destroy 80% to 95% of these advance jets while they'll be sitting on ground.

Secondly, even in the air, Israeli planes will know everything about Saudi planes, their tactics, and their weaknesses etc..and then Israelis will just shoot down any Saudis left.

Remember Israeli Iraqi nuclear-reactor strike?

They flew right through Saudi Arabia..and Saudi "advance" Patriot missile system with its powerful radar could not even pick up Israeli jets..and that was 30 years ago. Today, Saudi radars and infrastructure is even more worthless against Israelis. Israelis know each and everything about it. And saudi radars won't be able to pick Israeli jets....

There is no code whatsoever and the IFF is Saudi made just so you know. All the codes are encrypted and required pre-authorization setting.

Then how come Saudi budget is SO huge?

Look at Indian Armed Forces....MASSIVE military machine of 1.3 million (almost 5x the size of Saudi military), very well-equipped (hundreds of Su-30MKIs, getting Rafaels, Mig-29Ks and so on), armed with thousands of tanks, many submarines, aircraft carriers, ballistic missile program, nuclear program, anti-ballistic missile program, and many more things..

But the budget of such massive hyper-size military is $40 billion!

But for Saudi Arabia to have $56 billion budget...What is the great missing link here bros?

Quality over quantity my friend. Most of the budget is thrown into the Air Force which currently possess 72 Typhoons, 250+ F-15's and a little over 100 Tornado's.

While I know the Tornado's aren't exactly the most expensive of jets today (except for maintenance), those Typhoons must have cost easily $110-120 million per. Also, there aren't many weapons you can name which aren't in the arsenal of these planes. Everything from JDAMs to cruise missiles.

As far as I'm concerned, Saudi is a run by a bunch of <MOD EDIT> PLEASE REFRAIN FROM INSULTING OTHER NATIONALITIES <MOD EDIT>

But this money will only last a few short decades. Watch that defence budget dwindle over this time.

Our Arab region was the center of the world for thousands of years and home to the first civilizations on earth and also during the Islamic ages and the nearly 1000 years of Arab rule of the Caliphate during it's greatest times culturally, in terms of conquest (by far), science, architecture etc. Now we live in largely bad times but glory will return once again.

Regarding your comment about leaders then don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. That goes for ALL Muslim leaders.

RSAF is undoubtedly one of the strongest air forces out there and how and when it should be used is the sole decision of KSA and not foreigners. Not even other fellow Arabs.

RSAF serves KSA. That's its primary task. To protect KSA and it's people.

KSA is not going to risk years of progress (especially since 2005) just to enter a devastating war against a nuclear power that would have big consequences for KSA economically, politically, militarily (potentially) etc. Especially not when no other Muslim country is doing anything.

Nobody but the Israelis and Palestinians will solve their problems. It's after all their problems.
