A'Rustaq, Mar 19 (ONA) ---- The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Sultan of Oman Parachutes, with participation from the parachute forces from the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) carried out, at the joint military exercises area in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, the joint military practical exercise (Jabal 14). The exercise is part of the joint military exercises with the sisterly countries, which was launched on March 9th.2014.

Maj.Gen Matar bin Salim bin Rashid al-Balushi, Commander of RAO, Prince Maj.Gen Parachute, Fahd bin Turki bin Abdul Aziz al- Saud, Deputy Commander of the Royal Land Forces and Commander of the Parachute Units and Special Forces in the sisterly KSA, who is currently visiting the Sultanate. Sheikh Hilal bin Said al-Hajri, Governor of South Al Batinah, A number of walis in Governorate of South Al Batinah, a number of senior SAF, ROP and Saudi Royal Land Forces officers and the delegation accompanying the guest attended the activities of the exercise.

It should be noted that the Commander of the Royal Land Forces, Commander of the Parachute and Special Forces in KSA and his accompanying delegation arrived here today. They were received by Brigadier. Hamad bin Rashid al-Balushi, Director General of Operations and Training, Brigadier. Khalifa bin Said al-Busaidi, Director General of Administration and Human Resources at the Royal Army of Oman and a number of RAO senior officers.

I would say that All of the Middle Eastern countries should look towards increasing their military in numbers and quality training and equipment(by doing JV and R&D).
They should have Army like this:
KSA: 700,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Algeria: 700,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Libya: 700,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Oman: 380,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Yemen: 380,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Jordan: 380,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Tunisia: 380,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
Morocco: 380,000 regular Army, SSGs:110,000
