Royal Australian Air Force delegation visits Jodhpur - Brahmand.com

A six-member delegation of Royal Australian Air Force has arrived here on a two-day visit.

The delegation, led by Air Chief Air Marshal Geoff Brown AO accompanied by his wife Amanda Brown, landed here on Thursday evening.

The delegation was received by Air Commodore R N Gaekwad and his wife Rupali Gaekwad at the Air Force Station.

"He will be visiting the Air Force Station and will discuss the issues of common interest with the air force officials in the two days' visit.

"India's bilateral relationship with Australia is based on mutual trust, understanding, shared interests and mutual cooperation," said Defence spokesperson, S D Goswami.

India and Australia will be Natural Partners to Keep the Indian Ocean Region right from malacca Straits to Madgascar Safe :)

. . .
Yeah , Just like South China Seas or Pacific Ocean :)

Just for your info, Australian Navy is "barely" self sufficient for its own territory and they don't have blue water ambitions. Moreover what you need to know is that Australia's biggest trading partner is China and also, the biggest FDI source. Trying to become part of the containment of China will be suicidal for the Australians.

But who is talking about containment of Chinese? We just said that we'd like to keep the place safe along with the Australians?

Are you telling me that you're considering Chinese as aggressors here?

We don't.

India has formed a group for Indian ocean littoral states which is called "The Indian Ocean Rim-Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC)"

The main aim is to provide safety and security for trade routes, in future India will engage more with these countries.
