Round One JF17 - Poor Display By Tejas Took 10 more sec Than JF17 To Go Up

Dumbo we had sanctions in the 1990s how did you figure this one out?

Phase 1 only started in 1993

This guy doesnt even know the sanctions did not last for few years by America... and the sanctions were placed after nuclear test while lca squdron was suppose to be operational in 94... while europe continued to pour in their support in form of technology transfer (which indian bluntly labels as "indigenous") and engineers who directly worked with india

Missile-related export controls against India have been relaxed in recent years, especially by the United States. Most Indian entities have been removed from the "Entity List" maintained by the Department of Commerce, thus removing heightened export license requirements for these entities. The DRDO was removed from the list in 2001 and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was removed in 2004. In 2011, all remaining DRDO and ISRO subsidiaries (in addition to Bharat Dynamics Limited, or BDL) were removed from the list. The list no longer includes any Indian entities involved in missile or missile-related work. These measures have made it easier for India to access U.S. aerospace technology. Ties have grown particularly strong between ISRO and the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The two now cooperate under the Joint Working Group on Civil Space in areas such as space science, earth observation, and satellite navigation, and have established a scientific personnel exchange.

I saw the bahrain air show on the YouTube and Tejas take off was one of the worst..with hovering over the runway closing landing gear like passenger plane..
Do you even know what you're talking about?

Check this out. Minimum Take-off Distance: JF-17 - 609m. Tejas - 450m.

So let's see a JF going into vertical climb after a 450m roll!! It'll stall and fall out of the sky like a ton of bricks!

How can it be operational? When the phase 1 started in 1993 when full funding commenced?

Are you inbred? Or just plain thick?

Sanctions did have a affect on the lca program a quick google search and you can see for yourself.

I think this is the RIGHT time for China, Pak, BD, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, SL to ATTACK India since TEJAS took 10seconds more to go UP!!!
For India, China alone is more than enough. The rest can have a sleep if they want.

He means it drags.

HAL Tejas/Weight
14,330 lbs

CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder/Weight
14,520 lbs
Do you know LCA has 60% larger wing area then JF17 which means their will be less stress on its wings when it will be fully loaded as compare to your JF 17 and even then it is 190 lbs lighter then your JF 17.....

Sanctions did have a affect on the lca program a quick google search and you can see for yourself but obviously you have your head up you *** it does not matter.

The most important aspect of this was the proposal for development of a light combat aircraft (LCA), originally planned for production by 1994 with a prototype to be ready by 1990.

Dont even play the card "oh we got sanctioned by americans" which caused delays to LCA project. Its incompetency on Indian side that even with France, Sweden, Germany, GB, Israel, Russia, and US support India is struggled for 4 decades with this project. US placed sanctions in end of 1990s and then lifted in early 2000s..

The only homework you guys do here is just copy paste from wikipeedia and bahratraksaw...

Read this and see why sanctions hindered the project

For Lockheed Martin, this is déjà vu. In 1993, it was selected to partner ADA in developing the Tejas’ high-tech flight control system (FCS). But after India’s nuclear tests in 1998, Washington ordered the company to terminate the partnership. India eventually went it alone, developing the world class FCS that is on the Tejas today.

Lockheed Martin is still fighting to salvage the situation. The company told Business Standard, “We are continuing our dialogue with the Aeronautical Development Agency and the US Department of Defense and are hopeful we will be able provide the consultancy desired by ADA on the Naval LCA.”

But the decision now lies in the hands of V K Saraswat, scientific advisor to the defence minister.

Yep I saw it and was impressed!

below is an involvement of individual french engineer who alone contributed a lot more then entire team of Indian on FCS program.

I will also find an article which i came across long time ago which stated Dassault designed LCA FCS.

That only proves India is world class pathological liars who steal others credits.
USA was not the only nation involved in this project, as India had multiple companies involved in this project so if one company got kicked out or pulled out on its own another was in line. Initially US was in charge of FCS but after sanctions France took in charge of FCS...

This individual contributed a lot more to LCA FCS then entire team of Indian on LCA program. lol

Sir........ Nobody?????? instead you would say like Pakistan has only China while the rest of world is favouring you, arent they? Engines from US (Favored) Dessault help design (favored) Israeli Avionics (Favored) French Favored and etc....

Is Russia favoring you by providing the engine?? No..hell no...russia don't give two hoots about JF-17 being a success/failure..no?? Tejas is an Indian product...simple...Please understand the difference between ownership and consultancy...they are two different ball games...Also one of the reasons of Tejas program being never ending is becuase of lot of sanctions and technology denials...

What about statement of nobody? or this should have been like China is alone standing for her performance while you have all those countries in your favour because of your relations indeed, ain't it?
Explained above...and keep in mind that countries are not favoring us because they have developed some new found affinity for us...it is pure business so always keep that context in mind...denial is the reason chinese reached where they have today...We were import junkies with realization kicking in now...so good for us...

Indeed the future is there for LCA Tejas but who knows what happens next however, Tejas has given you aviation industry then i think it should have been debated in the same manner rather calling it ahead of JFT or par with ETC because in this way it doesn't match the category of fighter ACs yet.
Tejas giving us an aviation industry is an additional benefit for us...this covers all the money/time that has been bled...however that doesn't mean that it should not be compared with other fighters out there...i mean look at my very first post...all i have been saying is that fighters should be compared to what they are today..not on how long it took for us/you to reach where you have....plz explain where is the confusion in this??

So till now Tejas has been demonstrator like thing and the next will be a fighter AC (Future) but not yet.
Are you refering to FOC?? if yes then i agree...

LOL.... the key thing is "Thinking", which they can do and have been doing for the last 4 decades.........lets first convince IAF to induct the "Advanced" Tejas then you can think of making "more advanced" jets, by the way if Indians were that capable why are you guys the largest importers of military stuff?

well even after a decade it is still better the then the latest one ;) ........ better late then never or less advance..

lol in 1983 , India started to think of making plane, its given India a major Aero space industry. Where as you still celebrating that you are certified for overhauling the JFT , India is now thinking of making more advance plane and its related technology.

like On board Oxygen Generator.... is now developed by india , which still wishes yours.

lol, because we can afford it.
B) we have 4th largest army, 5th largest AF and 7th largest Navy,

IAF already convinced and order 100+ units and after that more advance, IAF is not in a desperate like PAF.

In the last 4 decades they master the composite planes , where your JFT still made on using Rivets and 70's technology , despite being made in 1990.

Your JFT don't have many weapons which Tejas already had , moreover IAF not even consider JFT type plane worth of considering, if offered.
