If someone wants some real stats then they should refer to FATA elections rather than these bogus polls. PMLN and PPP are wiped out. PML N will lose more seats in next elections mainly due to people jumping ships. As long as nawaz is out of picture Mariyam alone is enough to bury PMLN. I predict rise of Molvi brigade in punjab as main opposition in next elections mainly TLY.

Economic revival is important here, once people will start feeling the dividends of new economic discipline the political landscape may tilt in PTI's favor. But in Punjab PTI will have to make life hell for PMLN politicians and activists (not the general voters) otherwise the PMLN voter will remain intact. My suggestion to PTI make the life hell for PMLN/PPP local district/tehsil level politicians hell for the next few years, don't back off, that is how it works in Punjab, here if you are strong then people are with you, if you appear weak or "mummy daddy" type people don't take you seriously.

Here I agree with you, Imran Khan should use this card by publicly saying that he is "more authentic" representative of people of Punjab because his paternal roots are grounded in Mianwali than likes of Nawaz Sharif or Rana Sanaullah types whose roots are from across the border in indian Punjab. I don't know why Imran Khan doesn't use this card of being the true son of the soil of West Punjab against these PMLN east punjab migrants (technically not the true sons of the soil of territory of Pakistani Punjab). We the sons of the soil of Pakistani Punjab having deep ancestries in our local areas have the first right to rule our province than some Amritsari or Jalandhari outsiders.

Wrong. PPP and N formula was reforms at gun point from IMF but by 5th year present election budget without restrictions from IMF. PTI is following similar pattern. Only thing to see is how they will leave economy for next government.

One example is circular debt which increased by greater proportion in 2013 because N wanted to end load shedding at any cost, even if it means supplying electricity to loss making feeders.

That is most definitely not the reason for such a massive circular debt, the real reason is a bit more complicated and has a lot to do with mismanagement, but ending load shedding at any cost, is not the reason, 100%.

It took tareen politics to take over punjab and it will require the same politics to retain it playing nice gets you ni where the restrictions they are placing on Mariyam and media is exactly what they need to do

Unless imran khan is no more or establishment becomes enemy of imran khan, I also don't see weakening of PTI in punjab, in fact I see further strengthening of them once the dividends of economic discipline start materializing after a couple of years.

Why tareen politics didn't worked in 2011 12 13 14. 15 16 17 why it started working after PTI coming into power simply because tareen is nothing his son couldn't win from his native area Lodhran and here people think he is some very influential politician

Totally agree with you an average person neither knows nor care about this "tareen guy", for them PTI means Imran Khan just like PMLN means Nawaz Sharif and in the past PPP meant ZA Bhutto, that is how politics work at least in Punjab. Tareen has no charisma what so ever, he is a nobody in the eyes of the common people of Punjab.

He just is favorite of Imran Khan for some reason and Imran Khan gives him such type of tasks intentionally to make him appear stronger

There's difference in Nawaz and Imran Khan Nawaz was never popular amongst common people like Imran
He became politician only due to Zia ul Haq before becoming son of Zia he couldn't even win a councilor election on the other hand Imran Khan is self made person

All influential pmln members are businessmen and such type of people can't mobilize people for dharnas jalsas etc and on the other hand most of the PTI members are from rural areas
