Roshan Pakistan opinion polling: PMLN is on the rise again

. .
Central Punjab Has Always Been Stronghold Of Manashiyat League.Gonna Take A Long Time Before They Are Removed

Elections are still far away, a smart Government always takes the tough decisions in their first couple of years, so they could be in a better position when the time for elections comes.
You can see what PMLN and PPP did wrong, they gave as they say "forry relief to awam" early and had to pay at the end of their terms.

I would not believe in any political/poll surveys conducted in Pakistan, all of these surveys are conducted by corrupt and biased organizations.
This particular organization is unbiased and it has reported a strange fact the pti voter is still with pti its just that the voter pmln lost to tlp is back
As for the core demographics pti has an edge there as it has a spread out vote bank with majority being under the age of 30

Well PMLN might come back... but not with shareef family as the leaders. :-)
It wont come back few more months are pmln will fracture into multiple parts

These polls don't matter because most of people don't care about politics the party which has more electables wins because people vote for local politicians of their areas not for political parties

Well said. Good governance means doing the right thing even if masses might not agree. Right now the economy thanks to the previous decade of neglect and plunder is going through adjustment. Nearly half of the revenue is being used to pay expensive debts accrued by PMLN to create the good feel bubble which of course exploded last summer. So naturely the measures that the government has adopted like increased taxation and belt tightening is hurting people. As majority in Pakistan are ignorant they blame that on the present government. But as you said smart governments carry out the unpopular policies early on and as we still have 4 years to go there is plenty of time to sweeten the voters.

Even western democracies are myopic but Pakistan more so. Therefore comes 2002 the time will be ripe to indulge in populist policies to sweeten the public. With the army in lockstep with the government I can't see any threat over the horizin. By 2002 the government should have had time to weed out 30 years of plantings by PML/PPP and should have managed to entrench their own people within the state apparatus.

Short of a disaster I expect one more term for PMIK.

No one cares about pmln except northern punjabis in past those people who came from India were ruling Punjab all ministers were of Indian origin right now native Pakistani punjabis are ruling Punjab
Chief minister is ethnic Baloch from taunsa sports minister is bhatti from jhang similarly all Punjab ministers are local now and no one in Punjab cares about lohars they used to win only due electables

. .
The support of PTI is certainly on a downfall nowadays

Pakistanis are sensitive people.

If you keep victimizing people by words and no actual action takes place, they give in and vouch against 'oppression'.

this was expected and talked about here as well
