IMHO Islam gives only 2 choices.
1) Kill kuffrs/blasphemors and become ghazi. jannat and hours promised
2) become shaheed for cause of Jihad and attain jannat. Again djannat and virgins promised

Listen my friend, all this 72 virgins and other odd stuff that some people relate to Islam is a twisted interpretation of religious scripture. No where has it been explicitly mentioned that you get 72 virgins in heaven, if you read the Islamic source for it, you will come to understand that what has been described is not female virgins but rather raisins.

Similarly its a grave sin in Islam to kill others or commit suicide, however the Jihadis have interpreted partial sayings, historic events and scripture to suit their liking.

If what you have stated was true then you would have seen the billions of Muslim killing others 'left, right and centre', as they say in Pakistan.

The reality is that its the twisted interpretation at fault not Islam itself.

The word used for 72 in the Hadiath. is actually a metaphor for many..
Like you say scores of people.. you mean an undefined number.
So it doesn't mean 72.. it simply means whatever you like..
