The world is changing very fast. Not every nation is like what you are explaining to me.

Take for example the case of Sweden wherein most of the citizens are non believers. Then comes Norway, Finland and several more. It all depends on the education/maturity level of people of nation. Have lived in Nordic countries and have had interaction with local people. They do not mess their life in these petty religious things, no fringe elements.
