sorry to say but kings of ancient and medieval india never ventured out of the subcontinent. there was already so much wealth here that they had to fend off foreign, savaging beggars for over a thousand years. the exception being south Indian influence in SE Asia, but that was more cultural than militaristic.

Would have been interesting. China under her first emperor Qin Shi Huang with his crossbow equipped army vs the legions of the Roman Republic just fresh from the battles with Carthage during the second Punic War.

The Romans, of course. Who can deny the superiority of the white race? The white race , if you observe history, has been the conquerors and everyone else, subjected peoples.

Look at India. Such a massive land, yet subjected to the superiority of English strategy and power.

Rome would have humbled any asiatic. Rome collapsed only due to the might of the Germanic people, an ethnic group of the white race. Rome did not fall to an asiatic force.

Celtic tribes were subdued accordingly in Roman expeditions to Britannia ; many of the celtic armies utilized the archaic chariot charges as the Gauls.

Mostly, but more heavy infantry than Roman cavalry.
