Romania to receive 2,362 immigrants to comply with the European agenda on migration

Romania is to shelter 2,362 extra community immigrants, according to the scheme submitted by the European Commission within the European Agenda on Migration outlining the immediate measures that will be taken in order to respond to the crisis situation in the Mediterranean as well as the steps to be taken in the coming years to better manage migration in all its aspects.

Thus, the Commission made a Recommendation proposing an EU-wide resettlement scheme in order to help Italy and Greece to cope with the migrants flows. The EU budget will provide dedicated funding of an extra EUR 50 million in 2015/2016 to support this scheme.

The scheme is to apply on the refugees from Syria and Eritrea arrived in Italy and Greece after April 15 this year or after the mechanism comes into force.

A total of 40,000 refugees are to be divided from Italy and Greece among other EU member states, with these countries getting EUR 6,000 for each immigrant.

According with the scheme, Romania is to receive 1,023 immigrants from Italy, covering a 4.26 pc share out of the total of 24,000 persons. Germany has the biggest share, 21.91 pc- 5,258 immigrants. France ranks second- 4,051 refugees and Spain third- 2,573 persons.

From Greece, 682 immigrants are expected to come to Romania (4.26 pc share), the rest of them are to be allotted to other 22 countries.

Besides, EC proposes that other 20,000 refugees should be accepted over the next two years, within a mechanism of international protection recommended by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. The countries to take part in this scheme will receive a total of EUR 50 million during 2015-2016.

Within this mechanism, Romania will have a 3.29 pc share, meaning 657 immigrants.

''Turkish gov't continues reforms for Roma as EU struggles to find solution

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu met with representatives from the nongovernmental organizations of Roma communities on Sunday at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, where he called on Romanis who face problems in EU countries to come to Turkey. During the gathering at Dolmabahçe Palace, nearly 90 representatives, including many well-known Romani singers, came to discuss the issues that the Roma community faces in Turkey. While European Union countries fail to deal with Roma communities living in Europe, the EU Fundamental Rights Agency said one-third of Romanis are unemployed, 20 percent have no health insurance and 80 percent live below the poverty line.

The EU in 2011 urged its members to adopt plans to help Romani citizens find jobs, with healthcare, education and housing, but the plans were ignored.
Furthermore, the far-right political parties of Europe have sent warnings about Roma communities, claiming to be a threat to society and labeling them "lazy parasites."
Although, the European Commission on April 7, called on EU member countries to end discrimination against the Roma community, Romanis continue to remain a marginalized group in various countries throughout the world. While they have faced and continue to face discrimination, persecution and alienation for their unique lifestyle and cultural practices,
In 2010, during Nicolas Sarkozy presidential term, the French government launched a repatriation program to send thousands of Romani back to their home country due to the presence of illegal camps in the country. Although Romani people are EU citizens, French law requires them to get a work and residency permit to allow them to stay more than 3 months. Expulsions of Romani people have not ceased since François Hollande was elected president in 2012.

In 2013 alone, 165 camps were dismantled and 19,380 were sent away - a little more than the two previous years combined - wrote French daily Le Monde in January 2014, citing a report by the European Romani Rights Center.

“I will set up a mechanism in the Prime Ministry for if you are exposed to discrimination, and I will appoint a Roma brother as a consultant,” Davutoğlu said April 19, during a meeting at the Prime Ministry’s office at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş district.

“No community should be defamed because of their culture and social belongings,” Davutoğlu said, adding Roma people and all other communities in Turkey were brothers and there would be “no discrimination towards Roma people at all.”

Davutoğlu announced a commitment consisting of 11 articles, which covered issues from employment to education, from the preservation of the Roma culture to urban transformation and from the general health issues of the community to the Roma people living abroad.

Commenting on the unemployment problem, Davutoğlu said the state had made vacancies for 120,000 people in total and they would spare 5,000 positions for the citizens of the Roma community.

“We wish to see our Roma brothers at the highest ranks of society. They will be able to announce their identities proudly and be at the top positions of the civil service,” said Davutoğlu.''

Good.
Then take all the Roma gypsies and integrate them.
They can't integrate in our society, country (even our PM said that),when we propose the solutions, they don't want them, what they are doing everyday is stealing, making troubles, turning the places they are into trashes...
I'm happy when i see them being evicted by the Police. (I remember seeing Roma gypsies everyday in the market of my city,i wonder where they are now  )
Every French has enough of them.
'Au revoir'

Gypsie houses in a gypsie village, funny think they're all unempolyed and they were even stealing electrical power by illegally connecting to the power grid.

You can guess how much "they are loved" if even Romanians and Hungarians stick together against them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hădăreni_riots

On 20 September 1993, a group of Romanians attacked four Gypsies who had had an argument with a Romanian. While fleeing the attackers, one of the Gypsies knifed a Romanian to death. The four Gypsies then sought refuge in a house where they locked themselves in. Refusing to come out of the house, Romanians and Hungarians of the village, including the local police commander and one of his officers,[4] gathered outside, sprayed it with gasoline and set it on fire. Two Gypsies were lynched when they tried to flee, one burned to death inside, and one escaped.[2] The gesture of Romanian and Hungarian population was due to failures of the police. There had been dozens of complaints about thefts by Gypsies from the majority population in the previous period which were never solved by police. [5]
Afterwards, in a "classic case of mob justice",[1] 13 (or 14, according to some sources[3]) Gypsy houses were burnt down, and an additional four were damaged. The police did nothing to stop the attacks.[3] Most of the 130 Gypsy inhabitants of the village fled into the nearby woods, returning only after days or even weeks.[2]

The government, in its official explanation, expressed understanding for the "anger of the villagers."[6]

You're not only a lying joke, you're even rude.
(In response to Audio's post I exactly have said: ''Who's crying you a river? Syrian people are very welcomed here as well as Roma people but for your offer i prefer your spoiled sister, thanks.'' then he posted what I have quoted above but seems Moderator removed my post only.)

In our area Roma's control the poppy market from which the drug is prepared. And begging (they are always sitting near the church on Sunday with a bunch of young children on the hands), prostitution and theft.
If one day they disappear - no one will cry.
