Yes, if by shameful you mean taking in 21 thousands of them as refugees since this latest escalation.Bangladeshi action so far has been shameful

Rohingya are not totally innocent either. When British India invaded Burma, they used Bangladeshi soldiers who sympathize with the local rohingya since they are ethically the same, pass them weapons and they massacred the local Buddhist Rakhines burned their temple drove them away.
Yes, as did the Rakhaines & burmese with Japanese help.
And there was no Bangladesh during ww2. The communal riot was instigated by the Colonial Administration of Indian subcontinent for obvious reasons.
Killing & butchering innocent peoples, because their ancestors killed each others hundreds years ago is simply disgusting. So is justifying it. If you can't stop doing it, seek help ; visit a Psychologist.
The Rohingyas even wanted Rakhine to be incorporated into India.
So?
Just because they wanted to be the part of a different country is enough reason to kill them?
Do I have to remind you that Arakan was independent nation till the last part of the 17'th century also part of the Bengal presidency & British mandate in India & burma?
Do you understand the legal implications?
It's in simple words, it was fully in their legal right as part of the British mandate, to choose between two parts of the mandate. It was in their right to do so.
Every people regardless of their cast, creed, color, ethnicity, nation has the right of self determination. Using it to justify genocide on them is horribly disgusting.
