Rohail Asghar PMLN disgruntled for showing COAS Independence Day Speech

He is 100% right, Its the exclusive right of PM or President to speak with country on national day. PA chief is an servent of national govt. & nation like chiefs of other services and Institutes. Why speeches of don't speeches of PAF, PN, Supreme court CJM, Governor of Pak Reserve Bank and NAB chifs shown on TV. Does PA chief is above others?? No, in the eyes of constitution all are equal except CJM, who enjoys special rights given by PAK constitution and can summon every & each one of them including PM & President..

Because none of them makes a speech in front of 300 soaking wet cadets at 12 o clock. Jo banda speech kar raha hai us ki hi dikhayen gay na.

What an idiot this N league guy is...

The COAS speech to cadets is definitely more important than this old man hagging along, we see these pesky politicians taking the national television hostage everyday...ego got hurt of Sheikh sahib, sari sheikhi nikal jayegi thoray din main.

This moment comes once in a year, parade at PMA and these channels don't even show it full...ab Defence day ki parade nhn hoti to yehi dikha dia karo.

I have to agree with this, the COAS is addressing his organization and while such a video is welcome to be viewed. It is not the speech one should be looking at for the prime leadership message. However, if there is coverage being given to it then there is no problem as coverage for a whole bunch of pointless issues is given to other people. In essence, while the Politico is right in his assertion that the speech does not deserve prime time attention, he also has no right to accuse the TV channel of fear or otherwise if they wish to cover it.

PA rules! Didn't you know? :smokin: They've been ruling Pakistan since independence. These lame duck governments are just puppets on a string! And it's a good thing in a way. But I wish the PA had taken more effort in hanging the corrupt self serving politicians. India's murderous corrupt lawbreakers sitting in Parliament lording over the spoils of office require the same treatment too - hang them all by their balls!!

Oh wait! Do these netas have any balls to begin with? :pissed:

My dear I think you did not notice, but COAS was addressing his cadets, the ones he leads, he was not addressing the nation. The parade is held every year at kakul.
If ary wants to broadcast it, whats wrong is that?we see politicions fighting pointless everday, so what wrong is there, if we heard something useful.

Peace
