Israel supports AL Qaeda in Syria because they see them as a lesser threat than an organized and professional military like bashar assads which has an air force, tanks, missiles, special forces etc.

an al Qaeda win is a win for Israel, therefore Israel supports al Qaeda.

There is no single fact of so called support AQ by Israel. When it comes to ISIS there are two strange things:

1) Assad very little attacks ISIS. Towns controlled by ISIS: Raqqah, Manbij, Al Bab are not bombed, while towns controlled by rebels are barrel bombed on daily basis.
2) ISIS attacks more rebels than Assad.

So deliberately or not, but ISIS playing in Assad's hands.

As for Assads rusty tanks and planes - they are only good to make Israeli crews laugh. Last time they were used against Israel was 40 years ago.

we can both agree, unless you are a shameless liar that ISIS is against Assad as they are the most powerful rebel force in Syria .

Thats total crap.

Major rebel achievements were until spring 2013, when ISIS entered. Then ISIS began attacking Kurds, causing second front to rebels, ISIS captured rebel controlled areas but was very inactive against Assad.

Since spring 2013 the most successful rebels were in Daraa area, where ISIS was NOT present.

Assad currently is actually protecting Israel. Israel-Syrian border was calmest border in past 40 years.
