Here we go again, you pretend you know something, every single time someone should remind you that you are an empty tin. I live here in Antalya, tourism capital of Turkey and have been worked in tourism almost for 17 years and now get ready to listen them from an inside guy.

In Turkey, every touristic destination has some unique feature.
Istanbul hosts people all around the world.
Cappadocia hosts mostly Asians.
Muğla hosts mostly Brits.
Antalya hosts mostly Russians and Germans and other European countries.

What caused damage is Russian jet downing incident effected mostly Antalya. Putin stopped flights and ofcourse damage happened. Summer season here lasts from May to end of October. Tourism companies use % 50 of main staff winter / summer season %50 of employees work only for the summer season. This is how it works. After the Russian crisis, companies only used %40 of season work force, naturally. Whole tourism sector was never in crisis, only regional damage limited mostly by Antalya. And now flights started again with Russia, so crisis ended. Tourism will back to normal.

I know that you want to see Turkey in bad shape but losers like you will never see it. sorry again.

Again why throw that mud against me? I said what our media report. I dont care about your people enough to be concerned about your state.

Europeans avoid going turkey, thats only thing that matters since it makes our tourism numbers explode. Why should a german travel to a hostile country like turkey when he can visit italia? What makes your tourism numbers collapse is terrorism, coups and your mad dictator.

That said i find it amusing to be called a "loser" from someone who never made it beyond "waiter" in a developing country.

I hope you understand now. The state of turkey is irrelevant for me as long our nation profits. And the current state of turkey is very profitable for italy. So keep it that way, no matter what that means but it appears good for us.

seems no terrorist related issue so far... @MarkusS , Russia - Turkey flights already started so next summer fill the loss gap again, tourism is not collapsing in Turkey.... Sorry for you...

If he doesnt seek for RAI TV approval why did he invite 45 italian journalists to turkey for a 5 day tour to parliament, areas of the coup and interviews with himself and leading politicians? Their tour included a bridge in Istanbul, president palace, a building hit by rockets and some TV station where they met a female journalists from that coup night.

Can you explain me why he did that program with italian journalists if he doesnt care?

Also i expect your choices. Are you mad that our tourism numbers explode because the events in turkey? What do you expect? That i feel sorry for our good profits or what?

Italy will always have a great numbers of Tourists , So will France, UK and Spain.
Turkey will not suffer much, if all our neighbours were not such useless terrorists.
Besides, this will only make us invest more on tourism, and try to compete with Europe more.

It's a good move for telling them what actually happened. So, not only Italian journalists, don't get cocky too much Beside that, politicians, diplomats, foreing military attachees, ambassadors all visited the damaged areas.

i care for our tourist numbers, because it feeds many italian families. Its an important part of our economy and this year was a record year.

As i said i was with my girl in Istanbul in 2013 with the Costa Fascinosa. Now since last year our two grat cruise lines Costa Crociere and MSC dont go Turkey anymore because security risks. So that part broke away 100%. Germans dont go turkey anymore as well because both countries have become enemies now. You cant tell me evrything runs smooth when the numbers speak otherwise.

There were multiple terror attacks in Istanbul for example. Tourists died.

I actually liked it there. We were at a market, at Hagia Sophia, a mall and attended a night club.

But would i do it again now? Im not so sure. I speak italian so its easy to identify me as foreigner and i dont want that my parents have to bring me home in a casket.

Alsoconsidering what you said i guess italians arent welcome there.

It says that 600 traders on the great market of istanbul closed their shops this year and its expected number will rise to 1000. The main reason is that the great cruise lines dont come anymore.

As i said, both large italian lines MSC and Costa Crociere dont dock in turkey anymore. The german AIDA also doesnt dock there anymore since its governed by Costa.

Are there any plans from Turkey to win our cruise lines back?

Take istanbul for example, both great italian cruise lines Costa and MSC dont go istanbul or any other turkish port anymore.

Costa and MSC and AIDA dont send cruiseships to turkey anymore. Thats a fact.

TUI Mein Schiff not anymore. They cancelled. RC and Norwegian as well as Carnival too.

Its just too dangerous. Imagine what happenes if terrorists attack like in Tunis. The result would be a desaster for any line.

Losing Costa was the hardest blow since it is europes geatest line but Costa said in TV here they had no choice since security is not guaranteed. Nobody blames turkey but terroism there did rise very much. I was there in 2013 with Costa Fascinosa. Loved it but its not offered anymore.

Istanbul: An explosion rocked the car park of a chamber of commerce building in the resort province of Antalya in southern Turkey on Tuesday, causing some casualties and ambulances were sent to the area, broadcaster CNN Turk reported.

It said the cause of the blast was not immediately known.

The Dogan news agency broadcast footage showing five ambulances in front of the building, where dozens of people looked on.

An eyewitness who was at the building told CNN Turk the blast smashed windows and left people bloodied and a Dogan reporter said one vehicle was blown apart.

Antalya is a major tourist resort on Turkey`s Mediterranean coast. In August, two rockets hit a commercial facility near a resort town in the province but caused no casualties.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible for that attack, but Kurdish and far-left militants have staged similar attacks, mostly against the security forces, in the past.

Turkey has been hit by a series of deadly bombings this year, some of which have been blamed on the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), and some on Islamic State militants.

In August a suicide bomber killed at least 50 people in an attack on a wedding party in the southeastern city of Gaziantep.
