sure for some contribution towards pakistan defence and development budget say $10-15 billion

.
We should help Saudi with rangers to guard the borders in the acute setting while fresh troops are trained on the Saudi's pay roll and sent to help out fighting ISIS. This will help us
  1. FIght ISIS
  2. earn gratitude of people of Saudi
  3. Improve image in world
  4. Help reduce unemployment with training new troops

.
What pakistan charge for one ranger? Just curious.

@Horus you seem to got hurt by truth.

Ok, pakistan provide troops free of cost to Saudi and for humanitarian purpose and never ever Saudi throw money at Nawaz for unknown reasons. Gotch yaa....

LOL now troll kids like @farhan_9909 are equipped to rate people.

Can't the Saudis stand on their own feet? Why do they keep asking others for help when they have almost 250,000 troops and a defense budget of more than $50 billion- 10 times that of Pakistan?

With four armored brigades, five mechanized brigades, three infantry brigades, two airborne brigades and three Artillery battalions and over 80 Apache attack choppers, and the best fighter aircraft in the world including Eurofighter Typhoons, F-15E Strike Eagles etc, they still want help!!!!

They probably want others to do the dirty job of fighting their battles!

The moot question is: Should Pakistani troops lay down their lives for fighting someone else's war?

.
Deploy more troops i say, whilst at it get rid of the house of saud and its cohorts and get free oil.

If this is true, it clearly shows the saudi armed forces have no cojones.

.
all of you ppl are talking out of your @$$
and no im not insulting you cuz you put yourself in this position. talking like a parrot and getting your source from the internet without an official statement in such matters makes you look like a fool.
let me give you a few lessons
we dont need any troops. we are not qatar. we have more than 28 million saudis 70% percent are young. why the hell would we want troops ?!
our relationship with pakistan is a strategic relation. its a relation between 2 big countries not 2 persons or 2 gang members. we strengthen our relations with pakistan through economic and and military ties.
most of you daydreaming amateurs here are iranian propaganda fans. so your opinion is worth nothing.
me as a saudi who have a lot of members of my own family in all types of saudi armed forces. im telling NOOOOO WE DONT NEEEEED TROOOPS.
AND NOOOO ITS NOT ON THE DISCUSSION
but yes we have a lot pakistani armed forces for training. we have saudi armed forces in pakistan. and its something im very proud of
and we have more important issues to disscuss other than this crap.
and just for the sake of the argument. if pakistan send forces. so what ?! who are you ?! what are you going to do to stop it ?! NOTHING.
so show respect. talk with respect. and you will be respected.
king salman and nawaz have more important things to discuss and anything comes out of it in shaa Allah is for the best.

i can see iranian propaganda working so hard these days in pakistan. i say BURN nothing you can do about it. saudi and Pakistan are bigger than some dumb reports.

this new pic is for those dumb fools who dont really understand the true nature of saudi pak relations. specially iranian fans. i know its killing you to see a stronger saudi pakistani relation

ISIS is a 'common fear factor' which can bring KSA & Co. and Iran close (Indirectly) for this issue we have the example of Iran's proactive approach in Iraq in front of us.

If Pakistan can play a 'constructive role' here that will be the second best thing which ever happen in the history of Pakistan after the recognition of PRC; deployment of 5K-10K ground troops will not hurts us bad beside this the important factor would be the deployment of PAF.

BTW I think now Mr. Pasha would find more utilization for himself in ME.

. .
Pakistanis will soon realise what having Nawaz Sharif in the office means.

We should deploy forces inside Saudi Arabia but only in 'support, planning and training roles'. While safeguarding KSA's stability from terrorist threats is in our best interest, however there needs to be a fine line between how our military is deployed there. Last thing we want to see is our Army protecting the al Saud Monarchy instead of protecting our Saudi people and the country itself.

get real, there were no troops in Musharaf's time, or did PPP called them back. We must speak the truth, its our armed forces who get money and hefty pays for deployement in the kingdom, our soldiers are on waiting list to go there. please call spade a spade, its our collective greediness that has brought us to this point.

Arab troops are the worst disciplined and most worthless troops one can find on the planet. An entire Iraqi army brigade fled when a hundred ISIS fighters appeared. Even police forces don't run away like that. Iraqi army was 1.2 million, 12,000 artillery and 10,000 tanks before gulf war 1. They folded like a pack of cards. Granted USA has vast technological advantage but 1.2 million infantry should have put up a better fight instead of surrendering and deserting en masse.

SA may have all the latest equipment they want, they don't have the skill. You would be surprised to know there are a lot of foreigners, mercenaries in SA military.

.
just to be clear.. having an official pakistani base in saudi has nothing to do with fighting ISIS or protecting saudi borders. we have saudis in pakistan and pakistanis in saudi. nothing new. but to open a full official pakistani bass in saudi is political statement more than anything else. i heard such thing before but again its not official and as i said its a political message
