Kinda agree with the mixed signals thats emanating from India towards the US vs towards China, both entities have their advantages and their disadvantages. But we don't consider being dark as a mark of anything lower. Those who like to take a tan just like them there are those who want white color for personal opinions here. Being a northeasterner, I am fairer than anything you Pakistanis are and still no color is above of below for me.

BTW there are many people from J&K who are quite wheatish in color.

Color maybe a deciding factor for you Pakistanis but not for us people.
