Rising Asian Super Powers

If any country in Asia will become the next superpower its China.

China has a strong GDP, rising economy, has more influence in the world than any other country in Asia, and is the largest country in Asia (both in population and land mass). Also Chinese products are everywhere in the world.

.
I'd rather have the United States as the World Super power compared to other countries like Russia or China... people here hate the US i for one don't.. i love the US for the brilliant contributions they've made to the world during the last 60 years from the Internet to Hollywood, to Popular Music and technology and i love the US constitution its very poetic.

I need my dose of Star Trek, Star Wars and Comic Cons every now and than to remind of the Awesomeness that the United states has lol

agreed.

The US will almost certainly still be the single most important country for a long long time to come. They just might not have the same amount of influence, but they'll still have a huge, vibrant, well educated, wealthy population and amazing institutions.

.
The US is way ahead and always will be. Think about it, even when the US and China GDP is the same level in the future, China will have like 1.6 billion people to feed but the US will have less than half of that.

No doubt in it but Aimar the super powers of past were destroyed because other powers stood against them, emerged to replace them. USSR was broken into parts because US was capable of tearing it into parts with the aid of his block. Similarly if China is an emerging power than it should also concentrate on Military development, which in fact, is in pipeline and they are much concerned regarding this aspect.

Secondly, countries with giant place at map become superpowers, USSR was a big union, US is a elephantic country, China is big one and so is India but the thing which rolls out the option of India being the supreme power of Asia is the indpendence and rebellion movements in full blow in India, no such movements, or in such a large number, are their in US or China. USSR was broken becuase of it. So when you are to fight off enemies within your own borders you as a country are not a threat to others.

Thirdly, no matter how much bigger or strong is an economy as long as you have a strong Military you can survive or the hungary blood thirsty wolves will waste no time.

Kit over n out.

Its not so much that the US is losing its status as being the Superpower more so than other countries becoming better. You may not agree with Fareed Zakaria's view about Pakistan but he is still an intelligent person. I suggest you read this book

Its a New York Times best seller and has gotten rave review. I ordered my copy from Amazon hopefully it will arrive soon.

'"This is not a book about the decline of America, but rather about the rise of everyone else."

when some guy posts things like the above...you really get a beautiful insight to his level of intellect and capacity for criticism...both of which are indispensable in a forum.
