with no experience of governence , & without knowledge of pakistani politics,
today I explain you this topic. I was asked questions so I said about this issue on my last post #22 also, by referring Rajiv Gandhi, how he was very very successful on dealing international politics and at the same time he did enough to have high growth in India. even during second half of 80s, during the rule of Rajiv Gandhi, India had close to 8% on average growth rate
. he was the man who first brought computers in India and now India is a IT superpower, with excellent successful on the politics side also with help of Indian bureaucrats/diplomats, while he never knew politics before he became PM, was just a professional pilot
now I tell you about the current Indian PM, Mr Manmohan Singh, the second longest serving indian PM. he was hardly an economists and wasn't capable to win even a single seat from his state Punjab and he first entered in politics through a Rajya Sabha seat of North East
. when he was made Finance Minister during the time of Mr Rao in early 90s, it was argued, "An economist will only talk about the best return out of investment, the most feasible projects, while a politician first has to understand the social issues related to it." few said, "Mr Singh may go for those projects which will have the highest return while a politician would consider that project which may have less return but may employ more people, have better social impact." and have a look on India right now, due to the impact of Open Market, all the right and wrong from West have come to India. now you may straight see **** of the people like Sunny Leone and then watch her movie
. and her success will certainly inspire the Indian girls to do so also
. and at the same time soon you will find retails will have been taken over by Walmart type US's firms which will benefit the the economy but it will result in losing jobs of many local shops..........
I mean, when you take a decision then you lose somewhere and gain somewhere else. this is how the things works. and whether Mr R Gandhi or Mr M Singh, none of these two were competent on the political side but their time improved the economy to an extent, and India didnt lose anything on the politics side also. in fact, India is blamed for having late Economic Liberalization than China/ ASEAN region who had adopted this path in 70s.
a King/ PM/ President/ CM etc doesn't need to be very good on politics. he/she just needs to be true/loyal to his nation and rest, you have all the talents who will help him on the side of economics, politics etc........
i will back with the other issues you raised tomorrow...............
