RIP: Russia and India Had Big Plans to Build a Deadly Stealth Fighter. What Happened?

Have some pride for your own country instead of pretending to be the citizen of someone else's country.

I understand your need to call yourselves Indians because you don't have an identity of your own. But that doesn't mean you need to show that on this forum. It's easy to pick out all the wannabe Indians.

russia always favers china...never did they object to any copy of their weapons & fighter aircrafts by china....and it always available to pakistan....j11 the copy of su27...pakistan can have it anyday...

so from where the things start going wrong between russia and IAF...
it was HAL money and IAF engineers which convert su27 to su30mki.....
and su35 is just the same as su30mki with upthrust engine & russian computer.....and russia sell it to china...
what more...russia willing to reserve the right to sell T57 to china under their development plan....

how IAF could be agree on it......

For that to happen we need transfer of technology and for that to happen we need to buy a stealth fighter in bulk.
There are only two options available currently i.e Russia and USA.
USA will give you f35 after you buy F16(You are already working on the production of its counterpart Tejas)...and you have to wait till 2030...by that time you regional adversary will have nearly perfected and start mass production of their 5 th gen platforms...I see people here saying Russia would have given you only two FGFA for 300 million...but that would also include TOT right? I don't understand why you are leaning towards the US(F16 bought in bulk will affect the further development of Tejas) when you have Russia(yes they are slow and late...but they would have given it to you for sure.

Russia had big plan to develop Stealth fighter, India was shopping for good paint.

No. The US is willing to deliver F-35s to us as long as we buy from their production line. But we should make a direct purchase request through FMS.

They will provide ToT for license production of the F-35 if we pick either the F-16 or F/A-18 in the new fighter competition.
mind-goggling how someone can atually still believe in 'ToTs' for aircraft technology.

time to face reality.

capability can only come from your own research and development. indians foolishly awaits for 'ToTs' to produce planes.

There's no shortcuts.

You are the one not looking at ground realities.

The F-35 ToT offer is from the Americans. India is not asking for it. The Americans are willing to have the F-35 produced in India if India chooses the F-16 or SH for production in India.

what has that got to do with 'ToT'? Being screw-driver-ed in india(for the F-35??nice fantasy btw) = 'ToT'?

All your post on Indian defense matters has always been delusive and at times- self-contradictory.
