The law of unintended consequence seems at play. Blowback- and it's risen to the fore since Lal Masjid.

Unintended consequences? Certainly - we wouldn't be the first country to experience blow back from our policies, nor the last probably.

However, thats a bit different from continued institutional support for groups that are fighting the Pakistani military and its intelligence services (the series of bombings that targeted ISI headquarters and ISI personnel last year for example).

This is very silly, Why would US gov't want to put there soldiers lives in danger to accomplishing Pakistans nuclear weapons. There are other forms of ways, like going to UN and putting complet embargo against Pakistan.

They have done this after the nuclear explosions.
