Do you mean that a Govt. should stop legislation to protect people's future for decades because there are floods !!! You need a psychiatrist check up - seriously do consider it for your own sake (...or you may be in the next one to appear in the blue area with a KK and a woman and children and high on drugs).

Let me make it simple for you: The functioning of the assembly and the govt. does not stop anywhere in the world just because a calamity has hit the country or a specific area. Try and read some history and find examples where the leaders have continued to work normally despite major disasters.

The best known example is that at the time of Prophet's (PBUH) death the new Caliph decided that the army that he (PBUH) had prepared few days before should go ahead as planned.

What could be a bigger grief for muslims than the death of the Prophet (PBUH), yet they decided to keep the things functioning.

Nations that have vision and maturity never compromise their long term goals for intermediate issues.

The legislation taking place is related to the future of the nation and must go ahead.
