In the long run Vietnam wont be able to sustain the competition due to huge FDI involvement in RMG sector. Vietnam could not reap 100% of the benefit and could not accumulate domestic capital for further investment on their own. Eventually cost of making items in Vientnam will increase way faster than Bangldesh.

One point. China and Vietnam are historical adversary of each other. Very bad relationship, indeed!! So, this will dissuade many Chinese from investing in Vietnam and coming to Dhaka. Are you guys informed that there is a daily flight connection between Dhaka and Kunming of south China? I have traveled a few times. It is something over 3 hours (?) journey.
