Riding on India's newly openned first high speed train

I know. Its max speed on this stretch is 130 though its been running at 135. Reaches mid stations ahead of time sometimes.
Imagine if the tracks were improved and train was running at 180 kmph,instead of 130, it would shave off another 2.5 to 3 hrs of the total time.

@Skull and Bones

Pakistan is also constructing a new/doubling of tracks from Karachi to Peshawar....with higher speed of 160 km/hr.

Feasibility study of Main Line 1 project completed

The main line project involving 1872km railway track will be completed at a total cost of $8,172 million with the scope of doubling of entire track from Karachi to Peshawar; and speed of passenger trains will be raised from the current 65km to 110km per hour to 160km per hour, while freight trains will be operated at 120km per hour.

Engineering encompasses everything..it is not about engine(??), tracks, trains, signals, manufacturing, electrical and electronics...lots of thing.

Max speed attained is not the normal run speed, trial run can achieve higher speed not practical daily...
Our normal trains with locos are also rated for 180 kmph. But main issues are track condition and track congestion.
For eg our premium trains like rajdhani takes 12 hrs on same route but by just prioritising train 18, and without increasing any speed it's been cut to 8 hours. It's just a 750 km journey but if your train stops at every station, the time taken is unnecessarily too long.
India requires additional tracks for passenger traffic.. Having same tracks for passengers and freight results in congestion.
Passangers are subsidised by freight.

This train has no engine so talk of engine is out of question. Track is a different matter. I have praised the engineering of train because it has a capability to run at 180 kmph even on this old tracks.
