Revolution in Pakistan?

Everybody wants a change in the leadership of Pakistan, however one needs to understand history before voting for a revolution.

Any revolution in Pakistan will be bloody. This will as shown in the past not just effect Pakistan as a country, but the developments in Afghanistan and India will be effected. The Afghans, namely the Taliban are hoping for something like this anyway, especially now that their guerilla warfare is going in momentum and more American soldiers are dying on a daily account now then in the past.......and when this does happen it will take everything in its past, including the Pakistan Military. It will be unstoppable and not something one should vote for lightly. It recognises no borders and effects the whole region.

I am all for hanging ALL of Pakistan's politicians but this revolt will be bloody. Currently their is only chaos in Pakistan but in the coming weeks that will turn to anarchy, which is when a foundation for revolution will begin.

The 18th amendment judgement is due after Eid and the NRO implementation decision which had been judged in December must then be implemented by teh Government. If they fail and refuse to do so then the Supreme Court will use the Police to carry out its actons, failing this then the Military will be requested for the 111 Brigade to be placed under the authority of the Chief Justice. This alone will force the Government to implement the Courts decision, but if they do act silly, then the 111 Brigade will have to act on the orders of the Supreme Court as defined by the Constitution of Pakistan.

Unsteady days ahead.

Pray for the best of Pakistan

I m again reminded by my Brig. in Army that they are ready ... his precise words were 'we know CJ (and his judges) are very popular and the political class(whole) is at their lowest ,any request by CJ and invoking article 190 will provide us with the constituitional cover ' he insisted that the way 'state' is mocked by these 'Basterds' (NRO class) we will never tolerate this. So my countrymen expect some turbulance ahead (...as if we ever had smooth sail)

. .
yes and Altaf Bhai should start losing weight or else steel ropes would need to be ordered at poor Pakistani tax payer expense.

Only one discussion all over the media, a bloody revolution soon. What you think ? .

Some politicians statements.
We are expecting a huge anarchy, the way things are getting worst day by day. Shahbaz Shareef.

A bloody revolution soon, the price of bag of wheat jump from 460 rupees to 930 rupees. Whats left for poor people.
Millions of people after this flood are shelter less and food less.
Eid is coming soon but markets are empty. People have no money to pay electrical bills. This govt is taking non stop loans from world bank. World bank is imposing strict clause for the recovery of month installments of these loans.
Present govt is lying to media about recent additional loans from world bank. Calling it flood aid, which is untrue.
Friends of Pakistan refuse to raise more money for Pakistan, a consistent habit of begging of present regime.

On the other hand our both lords Zardari and Nawaz living made heaven on earth. Mr Zardari bought 145 million pounds of house in UK, during his recent visit.
Hussain Nawaz the son of Nawaz Shareef holding 15 million dollars in his personal foreign account, its just one account. Last tax year Mr Nawaz showed himself in debt of two cror rupees. His home in Rawind is built on 750 acres of land. Guess how big is 750 acres of land.

Are we really heading toward bloody revolution ?

Discussions never lead to a solution.. Only action initiates and completes a solution to the problem.. This country has gone corrupt beyond the point of no-return.. hence a revolution is the only way to clean out corrupt politicians, and land lords. The only way out is revolution and it would be bloody because these politicians and corrupt jageerdars will never surrender without a fight...

It is a hardcore fact that when atrocities in a country go beyond the borderline, Allah decrees a change... this country is full of Zalims... therefore, I predict, based on my own logical thinking and not goddamn psychic illusions, that:

There is going to be a bloody and very horrible revolution in December 2010.. This revolution will sweep out each and every politicians - good or bad. Every wadayra and jageerdar will be murdered and their lands will be disturbed among the farmers... The revolution is going to change the destiny of Pakistan. The revolution will be bought by a person who has a different notion of Jihad... and he will be the one who tracks all taliban and jihadi elements and kill them on the chowks.. He will be very stern and very hardline... He will be the future Administrator of Pakistan...!

I also hate bloody revolution and I pray to Allah to divert the bloody revolution and help us bring peaceful revolution in the country.. But Alas, we have gone too far. It is the law of Allah that whenever the blood of innocent spills on the earth, He gives birth to revolution from that blood.. I am afraid and horrified.. but this truth

Interesting topic.

Please come forward with a 'Debate' and not just trolling otherwise it'll be closed yet again.

Speaking of this 'Bloody Revolution' that is being discussed day/night over the Pakistani Media, there was a recent Corp Commander's meeting that took place a week back. My source has confirmed that plans to 'Correct' the Government were on the table. As far as an all out Martial Law is concerned, there won't be any. However, I've been hearing about Imran Khan being eyed by the Intelligence Agencies as a possible leader for Pakistan.

In my opinion, the ISI will train him as a leader before making any moves. If you compare Musharraf with Imran, he was no political leader before he took over the Government. The Military Intelligence was primarily behind his 'Political' career.

Thank you BezerK for sharing this. As I have said earlier (the thread you deleted), Imran Khan is the future leader of Pakistan! Nonetheless, I have stated this few times!

Trust me...

Moreover, I think Musharaf is a spent bullet---

But it if notice last month Musharraf had special meeting with King of Jordon, who links are well known among diplomatic and political circles. Right after the meeting his attorney in Pakistan announce his return in November. He is going to make final decision in first two weeks of September. Year end a big change....Present regime is no where, they look tired and surrendered in TV talk show, totally defenceless....

I wish Mr Zardari had opposition for someone to blame. But PPP is gone for next 15 years. A party victim of Zaradari power lust.

Haven't they always been saying that revolution is going to come? And aren't they always proven wrong?

We have a bad economy, unpopular and corrupt government, massive flooding, and a militancy problem coupled with being labeled a terrorist nation in the West. If no revolution has happened so far, I don't think they will be any revolution.

Can't wait until Zardari gets kicked out in '13.

.
This revolution might be a bloodless mid term election or election under CJ of Supreme court. But Zardari and his party might try to use Sind Card. Which mean raising the slogan of breaking country.

.
i believe the last thing that Pakistan would want to have is a mid-term election.....As far as coup is concerned it is going to put Pakistan into more trouble....I feel sorry for the mess Pak is in and agree that current govt. is not doing enough however i think they are still better then coup or mid-term election....comments welcome!!!
