Reversing thinning hair - possible treatments?

None. Try 'cupping', when they take blood from your head to refresh the blood supply.

Hair transplants from Turkey are cheap, and virtually undetectable and work well.

Modern hairpieces are virtually undetectable.

Master of Science

I do believe lifestyle has played a significant role.. by avoiding healthy foods I deprived my body from essential vitamins and minerals.. heck I'm the only male in my family who does not have a full beard.. I think a lot of my problems started during my time at university (stress) and even post university when I decided to make a career change I did nothing proactively for 2 years! and addition to family problems its been a stress cycle since..

I'm currently not in a good financial position at the moment, used up all my savings in the last 2 years, just going to focus on my health here on out.. maybe in a couple of years, and if the right women comes along...

Male hair loss is either -

  • genetic
  • or acute
If it is acute, like stress, illness or poor nutrition the hair will recover when the informing cause is remedied. However in males it's mostly genetic. And when this kicks in nothing will stop mother nature. Even in siblings there can be differances. One of my brothers does not have great hair despite being decade younger then me. One of my sons has my hair but the other not. This is genetic lottery. Like you are born tall, short, dark, light, muscular, skinny, bright, thick etc. We have to adapt around what we have been blessed with.

Honestly hair isn't a health issue. Just get transplant from Turkey, my cousin from Germany did it on his way back to Pakistan. He didn't look good for few days with all that blood, I though he was injured.

Even the transplants don't look that good. They harvest your hair from your head. So it actually involves spreading out the reduced number of follicles. Nawaz is good example of this.

Phone rakhoge hazaro ka lekin private doctor ke pas jake ke consultation ki fees bachani hai,,,,desis.
Advice bhi free chiye.
Thr is no going back frm male pattern baldness,,,no definitive treatment as such.
U can delay it though.
Use minoxidil oil 5% 1-2ml twice daily over the effected scalp area,,,gently massage. Hairfall will subside in 2-3 months,,but beware, stoppage of use may initiate massive haifall.
Thn there is finesteride 1mg,testosterone inhibitor, one tab once daily,,,preferably dont use more thn 6months.
Zinc n folate tablets daily.
Shud help.
Otherwise hair transplant or other cismetic aids such as super millionaire hair.

Hi

I'm 27 and since at least last year I have came to the realisation chunks of my hair are thinning to the point where it's barely visible (when they fall out), also when I did ustra last year, I noticed my hair from the front has ceded at least an inch on both sides.

I believe poor diet and heavy dandruff are the primary cause (blocking hair follicles), which I foolishly neglected for many years.... The diet bit I'm sorting out, also using a specialist shampoo (but its filled with harsh chemicals)..

Thus I'm looking for proven natural remedies which control dry scalp and reverse thinning hair.. I have heard good things about black seed oil/ caster oil.. any suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm also looking into FUE hair transplant, which is quite expensive in the UK and I am hoping it does not come to it.. In the meantime I plan to see a dermatologist, but the waiting times are usually long and you have to jump through many hoops as our national health service is taking a nosedive..
