According to this it appears that the system had expended its missiles and was waiting to be reloaded when it was hit,in addition the amount of damage to the system or rather the lack of it,as it appears to be only the cab which has been impacted, makes it seem far more likely that it was hit by a drone kamikazeing it than by any precision guided high explosive munitions.

I`d say this is rather far from "absolutely destroyed" wouldnt you agree?

Syria strike target identified: Air force compound under exclusive Iranian control
After coalition strike, Israel fears new rules by Iran and Russia in Syria
The Israeli military targeted an advanced Iranian air-defense system at the T4 base in Syria last week and not just attack drone deployment, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

The report noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the strike after conferring with U.S. President Donald Trump, in hopes of preventing Iran from using the anti-aircraft battery against Israeli jets carrying out strikes in Syria.

Haaretz previously reported that the strike apparently targeted armaments aside from the drones, which could have reduced the Israel Air Force's freedom of operation in Syrian airspace.

Earlier this week, a senior Israeli military official admitted to New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman that Israel targeted T4, adding that "it was the first time we attacked live Iranian targets - both facilities and people."

According to the Wall Street Journal, Iran began bolstering air defenses following an escalation triggered by Iran sending an armed drone into Israeli airspace. Israel shot down the drone and retaliated with strikes in Syria, during which an Israeli F-16 war plane was downed.
The Israeli official told the New York Times that the incident "opened a new period," adding that "this is the first time we saw Iran do something against Israel - not by proxy."

The Wall Street Journal reported that Israel tracked an Iranian plane flying a Tor missile system from Tehran to T4 following the flare-up. The report notes that Israel moved quickly to destory Iran's new defense system before it could be set up, citing intelligence officials.

Seven Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force members, including drone unit commander Colonel Mehdi Dehgan, were killed in the strikes on T4.

Actually this is what an iranian tor looks like, you can clearly see the difference because the iranians have indigenously upgraded their tors several years back by doubling the number of missile fire control channels from 2 to 4 just like in the tor m2,thats what that flat panel is on the left hand side of the radar antenna.

shut up who do you think you are
LOL!,they`re a zionist of course!.I mean c`mon, what other sort of sentiments do you honestly expect from someone like that,I mean this is someone who comes from/supports something as utterly repugnant as an apartheid state so of course they naturally find the concept of intellectual and technological apartheid very attractive, even if it is an utterly bizarre and stupid idea just like idea of apartheid based on racial/ethnic/religious discrimination.

.
Sanctions on Iran need to include a block on them sending people to the west to study this kind of technology and then take the knowledge back to Iran.

There are currently 20,000 Iranian students in the USA alone, never mind Europe. Many of those students end up remaining in the west & contribute significantly to western civilization. The USA/west are counting on most of the students embracing the freedom of western culture & changing sides I guess ? In any case, some knowledge does go back to Iran but even if the USA/Europe were to ban Iranian students, it wouldn't make a difference, Iranian students would then simply go east, to China or Russia for advanced knowledge. In the end it would only be a monetary & cultural / scientific loss to the west in the long run.
