Return of musharraf

.
I do not support his return to rulership in Pakistan. We don't need any more videos and photos coming out from the press showing our own military invading our own institutions again. "Bloodless coup" it was not.

.
I have a sneaky feeling that Musharraf will come back and re-ally himself with Zardari.

He will use his military clout to patch things up and then at the right opportune moment - The same ghissi pitti story will repeat itself and Zardari will be ousted.

No other way he can be part of any popular vote in Pakistan.

.
Strange to see Tech Lahore so jittery.
Wonder what he wud do if he's held up for fun, with a Toy Gun -

Waqqas's Gun was just that - a Toy Gun.

.
This must be the only time when both, Musharraf proponents and opponents
wud agree unanimously - though for entirely different reasons.

.
Yeah maybe if he comes back all this raining will stop (Remember: Jab sey ye Musharraf aye hai to baresh ruk gaye hain). And they will be terrorists bombing the crap out of our cities ...(Oh wait)! That part is already happening.

Maybe if he comes back we will have more electricity (Jab sey ye Musharraf aye hai, to bigle kam hoo gaye hain).

Perhaps the socio-economic condition including standard of living will change (Is Musgarraf ney to khana itna manga kar dia hain, eik roti 4 rupee key hai) Uffff!

But wait... We still have load shedding, in Bhakkar last time i was there it was 22hours out of 24, and those two hours use to be at odd times like 12am and 2am. or 3pm and 5 pm.

At the minute the cost of a tandoori roti is Six rupees. And ever since the azab that was Musharraf was replaced by our democratically elected "autocrats", bombings have increased by 200% - Sans Pips, Standard of Living has been reduced, load shedding has increased, fuel has become all the more expensive, even CNG has become expensive".

Yeah... Musharraf was the centre of all sins and ills in Pakistan. Enjoy your autocracy, hope it lasts a life time.

i think u might wanna check this out!
Economy of Pakistan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

yes, terrorism came in pakistan during his time BUT the seeds were planted long time ago! it wasn't his fault! he just did wat he thought was best for the country..

Chief Justice to greet Musharraf on return: PM

MULTAN: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that if former president Pervez Musharraf returns to the country he will be received by the chief justice because a lot of cases have been lodged against him.

Talking to journalists here on Monday after meeting PML-N leader Javed Hashmi and inquiring after his health, he said political forces would not allow derailing of democracy. He said both PPP and PML-N had offered a lot of sacrifices for democracy.

“We are in favour of democracy and Nawaz Sharif also supports democracy.”

The prime minister said there was no threat to democracy in the presence of a powerful Constitution.

He said donations of over Rs4 billion had been made to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund and the government would pay Rs100,000 to each affected family.

He said the government had asked the provinces to hold judicial inquiries into breaches in dykes and the probes were under way.

The prime minister said new provinces and administrative units could be set up only in accordance with the proper process and not by issuing statements.

Addressing a gathering at the Circuit House, the prime minister said that only political parties could resolve all the issues the country was facing.

He said the parties could help the flood-affected people with the politics of reconciliation.

The prime minister urged parliamentarians to spend their development funds for reconstruction of houses destroyed or damaged by floods.

He said efforts would be made to ensure supremacy of the Constitution and strengthen parliament.

He said there was need to strengthen institutions to overcome big challenges because individuals could not solve problems.

He said the government stood for a fair and transparent system with strong institutions.

The prime minister said he wanted everyone, including the opposition, to be consulted on all important issues because harmony among political forces was important for solving problems.

He said Pakistanis being a brave nation would help the affected people to reconstruct their houses and build a new Pakistan.

FARMERS:

On Sunday, talking to delegations from Jalalpur Pirwala and Shujabad, the prime minister said the government would provide seed and fertiliser to flood-hit farmers owning less than 25 acres of land.

He said the government had collected Rs10 million through the SMS and payment of Rs20,000 to each affected family would be completed in a month.

Multan Corps Commander Lt-Gen Shafqat Ahmad briefed Mr Gilani and Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on relief activities being carried out by the army in southern Punjab.

He said the army would provide resources to rebuild and renovate over 100 schools and as many health facilities.

He said almost 80 per cent of the displaced people of Layyah, 75 per cent of Taunsa Sharif, 60 per cent of Muzaffargarh, 60 per cent of Jampur and 20 to 25 per cent of Rajanpur and Rojhan had returned to their homes.

He said up to 83 per cent of the telecommunication, electricity and gas network had been restored in Layyah, 95 per cent in Dera Ghazi Khan and 90 per cent in Rahimyar Khan.

.
He's better than zardari... not a great leader, but in his time, we had a more stable economy, more stable politics, no bomb blasts, etc...

.
I can bet any stakes that Musharaf is not coming to the house/power. He is a spent bullet, believe it or not.

He is a spent bullet as far as the military is concerned. They may be keeping him safe from prosecution for now, but i dont think they would back him up in the political run. He could have used the clout when he was in office but he still had to quit. He didn't do it willingly.

. . . .
He might return but i dont think he'll get any votes. He is good or bad i dont wanna comment on that but a common person dont like him anymore. His popularity is quite low among ordinary citizens.

This Killer of Innocent people should not come to Pakistan at any cost.... trust me he came to power by wrong means and he will use all means to distory Pakistan ...

We need someone who is more loyal to Pakistan - im not saying PPP or any other party is 100% loyal
