Resume Talks with India

What's the point in talking to pakistan with its attitude of seeing terrorists ( LET , JUD , JM) as stratergic assets and pushing them into India.

Our only condition is that GOP should eliminate all terrorism eminating from pakistan towards India then we can talk.

I agree that Pakistan should eliminate or confront these radical groups and bring them to justice. I hope with the recent wave of terror attacks, the govt strengthens its stance against these internal terror groups and prevent the govt from another collapse. We are already seeing evidence of internal groups starting to raise their voice against the govt in support of flushing out these terror camps. If such a thing happens, god knows what will follow next.

There are extremists everywhere and as long as the state is fighting them and trying to isolate them, that is the only proof of its commitment to eliminate extremism.
Some are to be killed and some are slowly countered by other means.

Regarding the brilliant idea of some that India should not talk to Pakistan...my question is then why are you on a Pakistan forum if you think like that?
If individuals like us can engage in dialogue then the governments certainly have a duty to ensure the long term stability of the entire region.
Talks should never be stopped and anyone would be a fool if he thinks that talks have to be linked to absolute peace...if there was absolute peace and no outstanding issues then both countries would not have any urgent need to resolve anything...it is the inherent instability in our region which is why we all need to talk and cooperate.

Dialogue is the key to resolving issues, clearly Pakistan too has many frustrations and resentments as well but only way out is dialogue and mutual cooperation to stabilize the relationship.

Please talk to me Pakistan! India is desperate to do joint scientific, health and economic ventures with yaa. Our prosperity lies in your hands.

Getting your kicks out of such childish comments whereas the matter being discussed is much more important than what your imagination can grasp at the moment...
I am glad that not all Indians and Pakistanis are like you or there would be no hope.

Current dialogue is to stop a state of perpetual conflict in the subcontinent since decades...regarding the joint ventures, that is something for much better times...

If you have a notion that Pakistan does not have any capability of collaboration...then that is a flawed perception which is perpetuated by your prejudice.

Anyways, like i said...if you cannot talk to Pakistanis and they are not worth it , then put your money where your mouth is and leave this forum instead of making a fool of yourself and giving a bad name to your fellow countrymen.

There is no point in 'talking' to india , one look at the dry river bed of chenab tells a tale of the indian intentions towards Pakistan.

There is absloutly ZERO benifit that Pakistan get from india so why bother talking to a worthless entity that only goes around defaming Pakistan.

I've talked to many diplomats and they all have experienced, in one way or another , indian attempt to malign Pakistan , specially in western countries.

Like once the Pakistani Embassy in Germany did a Pakistan Cultural event and among other things they had got bangals ( chorian ) and many foreigners found it interesting.

One of the children of a Pakstani diplomat ( he mentioed it to me ) over heard the wife of the india ambassador saying to one of the vistitor ‘you know these are not of good quality I can get you better from india’

This is just a small incident but its and interesting insight into the minds of indian officals. This mindset is part of a collective hate towards Pakistan which makes them to go and to defame us on platforms that’s matter internationally.

We have to counter the indian attempts to defame Pakistan but I see no benefit in 'talking' to india.

Dude, do you want the issues to be boiling inside the people across the borders to a point where it explodes?... I am sure everyone participating in this forum looks forward to a healthy debate at the govt level like we are having in this forum.. (If you leave aside some of the childish and immature confrontations on the forum). If you are of the opinion that it is totally worthless, then why post in this thread?

This is the most hilarious example I have found recently to substantiate your point. Let me give another example from my personal experience. When my American friends ask me to recommend them a good Desi restaurant, I always recommend them to go to a nearby Pakistani restaurant... I am a regular there and absolutely in love with the food, especially Lahori Tikka... Please don't generalize some incident to form your opinions. I am very sure if you'd have asked another Pakistani lady present in the gathering, she would have told that she could get better bangles at her preferred shop... thats how women are...
And you claim to have spoken with many diplomats..... I rest my case .. peace out!

Intead i'd say no use of talking to the politicians in Pak, Pakistan has multiple power centers ....Only Army General in Pakistan can take decision other wise talking to others is futile exersise ...waste of time
