Resolving Kashmir imbroglio is path to peace South Asia: Mullen

seem only muslims has problums with every other...

Agreed...It is a fact that Pakistan's obsession with Kashmir is really a bottleneck to the peace of this region.
Now next question comes up is that who is in trouble or problem? Here the situation is that Pakistan is interested in Kashmir means Pakistan has to either wage a direct war or continue to support proxy terrorism movements inside Kashmir so that India is defeated and allows the separation of Kashmir.

As long as status quo is maintained, till that point India is a favorable position.
Now let us discuss about USA's strategy about Indian kashmir...At the time of cold war in 1980-90 period, India was really in back foot without any stronghold in international politics. USA was all out against India to create all sorts of problem. Even at that weakest moment of India's international position, USA could not succeed in fasciliating Pakistan to take away kashmir...So guys how do you think that in this era of 2011, If USA even wish to support Pakistan to liberate kashmir...then it will concern India..

And 2nd and most important thing, it is pakistan who is in problem for being involved in WOT and it is USA who is loosing the WOT....In both of this scenario, although India has nothing to gain but the most imp factor is that India is not loosing anything....So then Why India will be really interested to compromise its territory for the sake of regional peace in this region....

Give it another 25 years, *** will beg to come back to India. The path Pakistan is taking, confronting much bigger countries to its size is going to put in state of war for ever.

Since the peace in ****** depends on Kashmir , India should NOT resolve the issue as its in India's interest to maintain the "status-quo".

Agreed. The present status quo is in India's interest. The policy of Pakistan to bleed India by 1000 cuts is causing it internal haemorrhage.
We have the best part of kashmir and there is not need to give it up. There is nothing Pakistan can offer or bring to the table for giving up the valley, forget the whole of J&K state. The only option is for Pakistan to lick its wounds and accept the LOC as the international border and make peace with India.
India was at the weakest vis-a-vis Pakistan/Kashmir in 1990's, wherein the militancy was at its peak and India's position in the international arena was rock-bottom. Today the situation is completely opposite. The pro-Pakistani Kashmiri militancy is almost fizzled out and the pro-azadi sentiments are also on the downhill. There is no need to India to accept a defeat or even declare a draw with respect to Kashmir.
