Resolve the Kahmir issue now

Really? I didn't know that the population of GB have East Asian features.

And GB really must stay with Pakistan, otherwise the land-link between China and Pakistan will be broken.

Gilgit-Baltistan is not going anywhere, the people of Gilgit-Baltistan want to stay with Pakistan & do not want to join J&K. They do not consider themselves part of Kashmir, as they are ethnically different from the people in J&K.

I think Kashmiri nationalists still consider Gilgit Baltistan as part of Kashmir? Besides different ethnicity means nothing, cause people in leh-ladakh and Jammu are not ethnically same as Kashmiris either.

And not all Gilgit Baltistan people look east asian right?

The main issue of the Kashmir dispute stems from AJK & J&K, not from GB or Ladakh. GB wants to be part of Pakistan, Ladakh wants to be part of India. Both GB & Ladakh do not consider them part of the Kashmir independence movement like J&K & AJK want. So the focus point of this discussion is AJK & J&K. Either Pakistan & India both lose AJK & J&K (& they form an independent Kashmir state), or both India & Pakistan get to "keep" J&K & AJK respectively, & make them autonomous regions, just like AJK is an autonomous region. In that case, convert the LOC to the IB, & then both the J&K & AJK residents should have easy visa access to one another.

I can assure you that these are not the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. My servant who used to work in our house in Islamabad was from Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan; & he looked like someone straight from east Asia, as did the rest of his family or relatives. I'll post some pictures of him as soon as I can find them.

Oh am sure there are some people from the region with "mongoloid" features, cause of the proximity with Leh-Ladakh-Tibet, but all of them don't look like that.

And about the picture I posted, it said this as caption.

The highlighted part above is workable .

However , I feel differently on the autonomy part. J&K and J&K with Pak should eventually merge with their respective countries only then will this saga close.

Who the heck is Pakistan and India to decide? The option should rest with Kashmiris, it is their land, they should decide whether they want to join with India / Pakistan, or they want separate state without any influence of India and Pakistan.

Ideally yes, but its too late for that. Only if Kashmiris could decide without being coerced or influenced.

I guess it also depends on what region you are mainly looking at, but most of GB speaks this language, a form of Tibetan:

Balti dialect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The people of GB (especially the area of Baltistan, more so than the area of Gilgit) are most closely (ethnically) related to Ladakh, & both are fine being with Pakistan & India respectively. The people of Ladakh are ethnically very different from the residents of J&K as well.

Without tackling the militant groups and their support base, it will be difficult to guarantee any deal on Kashmir.
I am willing to wager both my testicles that if Pak accepts LoC as IB, India will grab that with both hands any day of the week and thrice on Sunday, whether or not the alphabet soup of militant groups, operating from inside Pak, is 'tackled'.

leave Kashmir, if this logic works out all over the world, how many countries will be there, 5000? 6000?

I believe a solution that should be acceptable to all would be for Pakistan & India to retain GB & Ladakh respectively, & for AJK & J&K to unite & form an independent state. However, I do not know if this solution will necessarily be accepted by India, although it will be accepted by the people of J&K, AJK, GB, Ladakh & most probably Pakistan as well. I also do not know if such a model (an independent Kashmir state comprising of AJK & J&K) sandwiched between India, Pakistan will be a viable one in the long run.
