anything free is GOLD bro

Nothing is free in this world .. just remember that you pay one way or the other very old famous line never to forget.

India & Afghanistan have close business ties , we got involved in Afghan to protect indian investments.

Business like IEDs and other devices however, F-16s are purely PAK-US so India doesn't need to do all that hue & cry.

Afghanistans silk road will gives us limitless access to resource rich central Asian countries through the India-Iran economic corridor .

Trade route of India needs Pakistan, if you are aware and we will make sure our security though which indeed includes F-16s to counter the threat of terrorism in Pakistan at northern areas.

Stability in Afghanistan's economy is one of our main

Tell US as they know well what India's main in Afghanistan but be sure that it wouldn't stop F-16s at all.

,not slaughtering innocent children with drones .

Now are biased here and propagating lies. Stop further derailing the topic. @Irfan Baloch your concerns please.

"TOP" US lawmaker Dana Rohrabacher" .......really..?? "TOP"???? If I had a huge Indian population in my constituency and they paid for my elections through fat donations, I'd be considered a "TOP" lawmaker in India too. Whether I passed the law school smoking joints or through luck!!!!

I've seen plenty of "top" lawmakers with the IQ similar to Donald Duck, doesn't mean they are the top ones, but people thought they were. You see them in courts and their ability to really interpret the law and the constitution, and defend their case, and you wonder how the hell did they get out of the law school.

On the -16's, this is a request by the Pentagon who deals with the Pakistani military on hourly basis if I understand correctly on real issues plaguing the globe today like terrorism and all. I don't think a lobbyists (called a "TOP" lawmaker lol), has a say in it. This is just paper work to show the donors "I did the best for you by filing a useless paper, now fund my next campaign".
well before the final decision of going ahead with the F-16 deal despite the "top" pressure to stop it... I posted saying that there are 4 parties and in the end 3 of them will end up happy
the parties being

1. PAF
2. Lockheed Martin
3. "Top" American lawmaker
4. Safron Bandits ;)

you can guess who is happy or sad and why.. but let me explain

1. :) because it got the jets for WOT and precise *** busting bombs
2. :) because it made sales revenue.
3. :) because his expenses are paid by safron bandit tax payer.
4. :( because 3 was paid in Safron money wasnt enough for the job.

That's Pakistan's business turf , no one can compete with a country that's pals with Osama himself. This is global politics adapt or don't whine , every country projects its interests . Look at China openly telling Australia to reconsider selling submarines to Japan . If China was about to sell nuclear subs to India Pakistan will sure as hell oppose it.

Nope . they don't , but yes,India being a 2.3 trillion dollar economy has business everywhere in the region , including Pakistan, but that in no way is a silk road .fact is The India Iran corridor will give direct access to both middle east and central Asian countries . Directly bypassing Pakistan.

right India wants to destabilise Afghanistan , a country that that its spending multi billion dollars , to freely build a 2000km road . Why don't you ask what USA really thinks of your activists In the border , here ill help you
Pentagon: Pakistan Uses ‘Proxy Forces’ in India and Afghanistan | The Diplomat

Derail what? Are you saying innocent lives have not been lost In a wartorn regions of Afghanistan& Pakistan? I believe in the sovereignty of Afghanistan , neither your country nor USA has any right to drone in peoples back yards . Hundreds have died , many false reports , fueling more hatred into the locals & spreading terrorism .

Didn't know that mere 8 F-16s would create that panic. However, all that stuff is just like so much of shouts regarding great India as usual but not I'm amused at all as it is off topic. Silk road is your concern so tell us when done so also those links about pentagon thing, you might have forgot about a recent befitting reply of US to India that it shouldn't be the concern but India do not learn. F-16s are coming and are proof of PAK- US relations instead of all that Indian bad mouthing yet hurt is clearly visible that all that taxpayers money gone in vain spent for lobbying. A better reply, Do not forget to tell all those things to US but lies wouldn't be accommodated by anyone.

Rest about all that drone attacks and killing own people, you are indeed spreading hatred and propagating defame and lies. I would like to report that.

@waz @HRK @WAJsal may you have a look at this. Despite request not to derail, the gentleman is not paying attention at all.

8 or 1 , India has every right to state its interests when Pakistan is a known supporter of terrorist organizations specially crafted for India , that the Pentagon themselves have acknowledged to still operate with influences.

This is what the MEA said : “We disagree with their rationale that such arms transfers help to combat terrorism. The record of the last many years in this regard speaks for itself.”

Secondly, India & USA have unfinished business regarding 26/11 among various other attacks on Indian territory .

So since this is diverting to you , let me put it in simple terms .

Stage 0.Pakistan has openly testified it created terrorist organizations to fight India.

Stage 1.About 17* months ago India reported one of the longest repeated cease fire violations by Pakistan since 2009. Killing dozens of soldiers & citizens in the ceasefire. The entire bjp government politicized it to its potential .

Stage2.USA 14 months ago USA openly states on record that Pakistan is using said terrorists as proxies to fight India.

Stage3.USA 6 months ago decided to proceed with the negotiations to sell f16s.

Stage4. Nearly a week ago , U.S. sells jets to a country that won't stop terrorist groups aimed at India

Stage5. Few Days ago ,India states it is unhappy, and now takes the matter with the president Obama himself.

India is securing its interests , it's as simple as that. Everything has a reason , the difference it you are looking at one side of the field while I'm looking at both from above .

I agree with everything you said but one thing:

3. "Top" American lawmaker.

 :disagree: :tsk:  that's not true, not even 1%. The guy has a girly name, second, he's never been to a law school. Let alone being a "TOP Lawmaker"!!!! The TOP lawmakers like Bill Clinton, George Busch, Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton.....ALL went to the TOP LAW SCHOOLS. This guy was an artists for Gods sake. He wins based off Silicon Valley's big $$$$ provided by the Indian Entrepreneurs!! Here, some of his truly "amazing" credentials with links. In US law and all, I can probably beat him. I wonder if he even remembers the entire bill of rights!!!! I do give him respect due to him being a Republican and a part of the US government but that's not because of his individual accomplishments or credentials. That's because where he is now, whether he got there by sleeping through his school, is a different story.

Dana Rohrabacher - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rohrabacher graduated from Palos Verdes High School in Palos Verdes Estates, California, attended Los Angeles Harbor College, and earned a bachelor's degree in history at California State University, Long Beach in 1969. He received his master's degree in American Studies at the University of Southern California. While in graduate school and during the early 1970s, he had a side activity as a folk singer.[citation needed] He was also a writer for the Orange County Register.[4] During this time he was considered a free-market anarchist and libertarian activist after his previous membership in Young Americans for Freedom. Libertarian author Samuel Konkin recalled, "The final step toward my libertarianism was provided by an anti-communist free-market anarchist named Dana Rohrabacher at the St. Louis YAF Convention. He was a charismatic campus activist, radicalized by Robert LeFevre who provided him with small funding to travel the country with his instrument and folk songs from campus to campus, converting YAF chapters into Libertarian Alliances and SIL chapters. Alas, later he fell into politics, but not the LP. The Libertarian billionaire Charles Koch supported him in two failed Republicans primary campaigns, and after Rohrabacher put in time as Ronald Reagan's speechwriter, he got his reward of a safe seat in the U.S. House of Representatives from Orange County. He is still in office today, with growing seniority. There are few issues on which he is still Libertarian. But in 1969–71, Dana Rohrabacher was the most successful and most beloved Libertarian activist."[5]

Keep it up, infact that is the National duty of India and all those allegations are as per Indian aspects otherwise these Falcons wouldn't come. You just answered to your claim in the same post about Indian allegations, opposition by Indian lobbying Senators and what not but still F-16s are on the way. India needs to calm down or would hurt itself. Don't you think that US knows about that all allegations or not? Indeed they know about transparency in these cooked statements. Such pro claimed and designed stages wouldn't work as it always needed the proofs and strong grounds other than obsession and personal grudge. US ruled out all those allegations and approved the sale even by paying the most of amount in lieu of FMF and around 40% by Pakistan. Despite wasting the time of both of us, immediately submit those all allegations to US that might work but I doubt it. Resolution is submitted in US and India started to jumping around without any clue or is it you only though this is mere political practice of US politicians and till Falcons arrived, keep calm and Peace.

1) How could a country like India, that has so much religious based violence internally, where her minorities are killed by Hindu extremists left and right, be so obsessed with what happens in Pakistan? Its not like you guys don't do terrorism inside Pakistan. So why not clean up your record first so that when you speak up, it makes sense that a peaceful and terrorism FREE country is talking about another country who does terrorism.......but when you do the SAME thing, why do propaganda? To me, you are both conducting terrorism related activities.

2) Sec. of State, John Kerry just told Senate last week about Afghanistan that "there are other powers involved there outside of the US and Pakistan and that his current reason for addressing the senate didn't include that topic so he would leave it for a different discussion. Who do you think he was talking about???? :enjoy:

3) I've never seen a bunch of people trying to present their country as the mother of all good when its the same as Pakistan. Should I mention more about recent events in Haryana and explain the oppression to your own people? Hyderabad? and the list goes on and on.

Please stay on the topic and produce valuable content so that we can debate effectively. "The Dog ate my homework" isn't applicable anymore and takes every thread off of its real topic when you guy start name calling the other party and saying terrorist, etc. Everyone has or had extremists, whether its India or Pakistan or Ireland, or Italy. But that doesn't need to come into a topic that has NOTHING to do with terrorism. This topic was about a government to government sale of F-16's from the US to Pakistan. And by reading posts, I see a LOT of unnecessary pain and rear-hurt that actually shouldn't be there. But oh well, everyone knows how Indians on this forum and across the globe act. You guys don't own any nation or policies. The US will ALWAYS follow her own policies and will act on her interest. I think that's a respectful end and it should end the debate.

@Irfan Baloch @waz @Oscar : guys, I think its time we close these silly threads that just waste time in reading and writing low quality posts. I'd rather write on some important topic than wasting time on some people's hurt emotions. And everything I wrote above is factual and said in a respectful manner. No one should be offended by reading the reality. Thank you.

I'm looking at both from above .

How far above, like Mars or what but don't go higher it will cause you less oxygen and suffocation so my advice come to the earth and look at the map Pakistan is till there my friend.
