I want to join Pakistan Airforce as A GD-Pilot but the problem is that my eye-sight is a little-bit weak... So, If I do LASER eye treatment.. then I can be selected?? ... I will be waiting for your Reply ...

I don't know about the treatment but as long as your eyesight is 6/6 after or before the treatment you won't have any problem with eye exam.

It means that even with glasses, what other people see at 12 metres distance you can only see them at 6 metres distance.
Aizaz Khan, if your eye sight is 6/6 with eye glasses, I don't think there will be a problem. If with eye glasses you can't achieve 6/6, I have no idea.
P.S : I'm not an eye doctor, so don't take my words as 100% accurate.

Is your eyesight 6/6 with the glasses? i.e : perfect eyesight? If so, I think there shall be no problems. I don't think there will be a problem with a pilot wearing glasses.

my self mohammad noman ibrahim ...
i want to join airforce ... im in first year now ....
can i apply for airforce after inter for gdp ( general duty piolet ) ..
although my eye sight is 6/5 my hight is 167 cm ( 5 feet 6 inch ) and one more thing i'm working very hard for present studies to
get good achivements for my intermadiate result ????
just tell me what i should have to do after inter and can i go or not bcoz of eye sights ...

Hello why are these threads regarding joining PAF so dead. Literally no one replies to nothing, be nice and please let me and others know about what they need to know.
Can anybody please tell me about the medical tests they take for joining the PAF and what kind of tests are taken?
Also, this man told me that he tried to join PAF but failed the medical test and it was because when he stood straight with his feet closed together, there wasn't any gap between his knees, and this was the reason he said he was unfit, can I get to know if thats right or not?

I'm 18 and i'm doing my last year of college in Italy. I really want to join PAF as pilot next year but I don't know if I can because my eyesight is week.
Please someone can tell me if people with glasses are accepted?
