One thing that is worrying me is why we are on defensive rather thn on offensive in our own country?

Unfortunately, when the country is on the brink of financial ruin, the begairats in Pakistan continue to rob, loot and plunder the country into a bigger hole. Offensive operations cost money which Pakistan either doesn't have or doesn't want to spend at this stage in the game and the foreign enemies know this very well which is why they are encouraging these attacks to force Pakistan's hand. The country is under a multi-pincer attack and needs to operate effectively going forward. If there is evidence of foreign involvement, then it's time to active our foreign agents in their major cities and teach them a lesson that hurts them......Delhi, Bombay & Tehran comes to mind....And most importantly we need to clean up our internal situation starting of with chopping the heads of corrupt Politicians & Judges.

President is not like being unaware. There are protocols as when & how to make a statement. What he posted is not related in such situation and doesn't warrant these kinds of frustrated taunts.

What if I tell you that several attacks were also successfully thwarted by the same FC
These terrorists have only one agenda to kill as many as possible so in earnest they come on suicide missions and even the most ardent and experienced Generals from around the globe have the same opinion, when a person has no regards for his own life, he will always do some damage before getting eliminated and it only takes one to make the impact.

That's understandable. But the point is, why our FC not well equipped to minimize damage at our end. Sara randi rona tu yeh hai. Balochistan, lately has been facing active insurgency and sorry, FC is illequipped/illtrained to face it. Regular Army is the proper force to stop it just like what we did it in Fata to a great extent. Yes it will be more costly but that's the only way to eliminate those rats. When terrorist sympathizers hate someone it means they are good for the country. When they actively campaign for someone like the people you support than it means those people are bad for the country.

Now those 4-5 militants who are at large will either escape or will end up killing 2-3 more FC soliders before getting killed. Had it been any other top Army, they would had vaporized these 4-5 militants without any single injury by now, let alone death. I am predicting final FC death toll to be 15 where as militants 23-24.
