Jang is reporting that per Scotland yard------in reference to Sarfraz Merchat---it is a police report----.

Oh well------we start all over again----drama drama drama

And to top things off---to make matters worse for him---Mr Merchant supposedly wanted to go to Altaf Hussein and tell him that he gave the report to other members and this report is leaked.

Scotland yard---now rushes to Sarfraz's residence and wants to provide him with protection----.

Let us see what comes out of it.

My understanding is...

BBC Urdu sent an email to Scotland Yard with copies of hidden-out document and the language used in that email may not have been the best of journalistic approach. Scotland Yard is a highly professional institute and they wouldn't be adding any comments on their own. They saw the document, verified it and denied the existence of that copy. They may still have the original (unaltered) copy of the same document but it is not the one shown in the media (marked, hidden out contents etc).

Besides that, the new document appeared in the media seems more genuine and already Mr Merchant has acknowledged the authenticity of that so there is probably no need for another verification but it is good if our media had contacted the Met Police for further clarification (and I am sure they wouldn't have revealed anything).

Regarding protection of Sarfraz Merchant I think if Imran Farooq can be killed then he too can be killed despite the fact it is not easy to assassinate in London. But the murders do happen everywhere in the world and taking precautionary measures is a right way forward.

I feel horibly sorry for mind set which can't bring any proves till now for its alleged aligations agianst a senior journalist MR sehti in Pakistan , while making a storm about 35 Punctures in genral elections of 2013 ?
Today shamelessly the same mind set been , humiliated in front of whole Pakistani nation , & the supreme judicial council , for the alleged fake mandate , & planned fixtures ?

Here is what my thinking is----the british police on the indulgence of an internal agency was going to wipe this report clean of any reference of support from raw and india----but with the release of this report by Merchant----they got caught----.

Out of sheer stupidity---the british police denied the report---still trying to cover it up----till the person being investigated came thru ad stated---yes this report is true and I gave to so and so and they supposedly leaked it.

My feeling is that the british and the americans have known for a long time about this nexus---now the brits got their hands on the hard information and they wanted to sit on it.

Pakistan is not on the priority list to be helped by Britain against India.

It mentioned Indian Sources but few months ago they investigated two Indian People on that and they turned out to be ROUTING Money from Dubai to London if I remember Correctly. So still this whole RAW thing is a Mystery right now.

One of my boys , told me from our side of Angels that , altaf HUSAAIN was fooling Indians since long time , he also provided the details of his scam to our big boys , somewhere in 2003 or 4 ?
Now some of our big boys , wants him out to bring in ishart ul ebad ?
So they planned all that , with their assests in.pakisani media ?
But as you said , not only its about INDIA , its about UK : USA too providing MQM a strategic role ?

Okay----then if I go on a limb and state that if powers to be wants Altaf Hussein and Anwar out of the picture---then how would the mohajjir community feel about a new leadership.

It is my personal feeling that the mohajjir community needs to get out from under the fiefdom banner of the party leadership. The party members have the capability and ability to chose leadership of the party for two terms and them progress forward with new leadership----.

It will keep the party fresh and create an example for other parties to elect fresh leaders after two terms.

So now that both Scotland Yard and Mr.Merchant have verified the report, your only counter-argument is that somehow because this 'mindset' failed to prove 35 punctures, every allegation must be wrong. Hadd hai.

But your feelings can't change emotionally charged up peoples , who have been declared traitors , since 90s ?
Their leadership been never approved at national level to share the power at political level in so called damocracy of Pakistan ?
