In all my resent interaction with MQM supporters, I have concluded that they are not gonna change their mindsets and continue supporting that terror organization. So its best to leave them at their own fate. What is happening around in Karachi is a direct result of regional, lingual and cheap politics that MQM does along with PPP and ANP. They belong to Karachi and they are the ones who are suffering from unrest in that city. We shouldn't get bothered to whom they elect (only if MQM allows them to vote for other parties).

Precisely ; Somehow people think that Islam is a magical umbrella that will unite all followers under a 7th century religious figurehead. But they too ought to realize that a religion is after all followed by humans, and when they cannot follow the bigger religion called humanity, how could they be expected to be true Muslims ? No wonder we see Iranians pitted against Arabs, Shias against Sunnis, Muhajirs against Punjabis. Take home : Why cannot we all be humans and start with the basic principles first : Live and Let Live.
