Renault In Pakistan

What is the significance of this If Pakistan already has Japanese makers? Aren't Japanese cars next best after German ones?

.
I forgot Vauxhall is marketed only in Britain, Australia, New Zealand but its proper name is Opel.

plus not to keen of French cars in Pakistan purely due to reliability

.
This is an interesting news. Pakistani market is dominated by Japanese car manufacturers. Do the French have what it takes to compete with the Japanese. That is something we have got to see. Besides will they make cars which are suitable for our roads. If the introduction of French cars forces the Japanese to improve quality then I am looking forward to it.

why is it that everyone expresses interest in only Assembly plants,
why not Manufacturing those very vehicles?

or do they slowly convert the Assembly plants to Manufacturing plants as sales Hike?
didnt seem like it that way when Suzuki and Toyota have been Assembling since 80's and dont manufacture even in 2015

. . .
yep there was a news about volkswagen setting up a plant .... lets see

they never introduced the best ones to Pakistan and we're still driving the Cars that incorporate the technology from the 80's and 90's.
their still is no local manufacturing and they only assemble from Kits and Charge us twice as Much as the same counterparts in India.

An increased choice in cars will be beneficial for us. I have lived in Lucknow for a while and know their automative industry in terms of choice of different types of cars is huge. Poor FDI and disbelief in local models is causing our car industry to suffer. We have more cars per capita than Indians but that still means most of us have very little choice in cars with city mehran cultus Witz being the most common. Almost all people have the same cars which is boring on the roads.

It's not economically feasible to set up a car manufacturing plant when the demand is so low (under 100,000 cars annually). The car market needs to be larger to make it feasible to invest a huge amount for manufacturing.

It's now 150,000 cars per year now.... Car sales hiked about 74%

That is one pimped out duster

Don't say that :( I just bought a renault.

I agree though theie service network is horrible and depreciation is the maximum except for Luxury Segment ( D class) in India. Depreciation is like 80% in three years if the car is kept like new. Some used a Duster as Garbage truck to protest.
hahaha i would recommend getting contact hire, its much cheaper. if you buy a french car and then it comes to sell it in about 3/4 years for example then you will lose about half of the value of the car. now that you have go a Renault use it and utilise it, basically drive it untill you kill it and look after it in the process. what car did you get. if i were to get a french car i would get a citroen ds3 or a ds5 purely for the looks and the ds/5 is a decent sized hybrid.

below ds3
