What's new

Rename Gaddfi Stadium Lahore to Liberty Stadium

the current name is now a known branded one for the stadium.

i dont see renaming is going to do any good to anyone.

anyway emotional bouts nothing more.

WO WO WO

Emotions? What the frog!

Emotions, are you talking about emotions? That guy committed a genocide, wakeup!

If you are labelling this as an emotion--I have no words to describe my position.

.
You know what happened?

EMOTIONS?

"Citing hospital sources, Human Rights Watch said at least 233 people have been killed during the unrest. CNN has been in communication with medics and witnesses in Libya, whose accounts appear to corroborate the Human Rights Watch report. But Ibrahim Dabbashi, Libya's deputy ambassador to the United Nations, has said the toll could be as high as 800.
Gadhafi, 68, made a brief television appearance early Tuesday to announce that he was in Libya, denying reports that he had fled the country in the face of a spreading revolt.
Speaking to a state television reporter in front of his Tripoli home, Gadhafi said he wanted to show people "that I am in Tripoli, not in Venezuela. Don't believe those dogs in the media."

JanaJi: It works on all sides I am sorry to say. Whatever happened to cool level headed thinking in my original home? :hitwall:

:agree: the original home is still not that bad with thinking but unfortunately few educated like us blabbering and misusing everything in media and all other levels have created such a situation.

otherwise 60% rural electorate has no concern with whether you change the names to anything. or the case with other such things too

It is like leaving a bad precedent for the future generations. There was this stadium in Lahore, Gaddafi, named after Libyan dude, who later on committed a crime against humanity.

This is a fact Jana, read it!
And read it close.

Was this an emotional outburst?
If you want to label a fact as an emotion--this is a bias from you.

JanaJi: My love for the original home is still strong just because of the gems still there. :D

The only problem is this:

Adam Walinsky: “If there are twelve clowns in a ring, you can jump in the middle and start reciting Shakespeare, but to the audience, you'll just be the thirteenth clown”.

I guess that makes me the 13th clown!

. . .
The guy who ordered genocide--No, we don't need your name!

Do you know what genocide is?
"Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.".........how has Gaddfi committed Genocide?

i dont need your position in the first place.

a person who comes with ideas of moral policing based on his own thinking and opinion doesnt hold the right to give verdict on others
