Remembering Life of Ahmed Deedat

I did not reaiise he had that wide an audience outside our region.

Amazing person. Extremely hospitable.

He's a legend bro --
Even in the US he was widely watched. Especially his debates which are still unmatched to this date, and many still reference his speeches.

. . . .
What a wonderful man, amazing debater and a great da'ee. He is famous in Pakistan as well and many people still watch his debates.

. .
I watched some of his debates last week. He was one of the best.

.
Man, i wish you had met him in person; he was a real good humoured fellow. Down to earth who walked the talk.
I wish. One of the best interfaith debaters of all time.

Salaam

May Allah have mercy on Shiekh Ahmed Deedat. He inspired a lot of people towards better understanding Islam. He was one of the first Da'ee I heard. Learnt a lot from him.

Man youtube had the debate:

called a friend in Durbs; he said his son died last year- shot dead by unknown gunman.
i would like to explain the seemingly contradiction between the following verses.
Possible scenarios: 1
1Ki 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

2Ch 9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

in the 1 kings 4, the 40k number is referring to the stalls that housed horses only (without chariots)
the stalls for these horses are different from the one(4000 stalls) in 2Ch9 that kept both the horses & chariots.

Possible scenarios:2
Copyist error.

so there you go. There is no contradiction cooked up by Ahmed Deedat.
