In the memory of Shaheed Captain Akash Aftab Rabbani | Facebook
Capt. Akash Aftab Rabbani (Shaheed) embraced martyrdom on July 15, 2014.. He is the first Shaheed of Ongoing Operation Zarb e Azb and First ever Sitara e Basalat of Abbottabad..

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before i knew it and only God knows why.
My heart heart still aches in sadness and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will everknow.

Akash I only miss you when I'm breathing..

my brother attended his funeral and he even has the video of the gun salute. he refused to share it unfortunately saying he didnt want to publicise a funeral. the cousin of the martyr is a doctor and a close friend of my brother and they went to Abbattabad for the funeral.

just to remind others who forgot. the shaheed got hit by sniper fire as they were ending their operation.
may his soul rest in peace.

Salute!

Brave young men like these in the field pay the ultimate price for their devotion to duty, and they must be honored and remembered.

More precisely, they were sent to extract the dead bodies of fellow soldiers who were also hit by the sniper.

true , "leave no Man behind" is a fundamental philosophy among the forces we see across the world. be it Mogadishu (black Hawk down) or tribal areas of Pakistan.

More precisely, they were sent to extract the dead bodies of fellow soldiers who were also hit by the sniper.
that TTP sniper was very lucky. not sure if he is still alive and in action or taken out.

by the way TTP snipers have met the same treatment by Pakistan army as across the world
no need to say more

Yes, I remember the original thread from last year. Started by a member here who personally knew Akash Shaheed. Rest in peace, brother.
